No trip to Las Vegas is complete without a visit to the Caesars Forum Shops. Unlike the Fashion Show mall the Forum shops are themed and make for more of a Las Vegas style experience.
The Strip entrance to the shops is new and amazing. Anyone who remembers the old entrance remembers the long moving rams that took you back off the strip to the original mall entrance. Unfortunately these didn't always work so you had to hike a ways to get to the mall. This has been replaced with a great new entrance that is three stories tall and contains even more shops.
Outside the new entrance is a replica of the Trevi Fountain. Inside are tall statues with curved escalators move people between levels. New shops line the way back to the original mall. Everything is themed in a roman style (including a three story Trojan horse) and makes for a fun shopping experience. The shops here range from kids toy stores and restaurants to fancy jewelry and clothing stores.
Throughout the mall are several sets of fountains. Some are just for decoration, but two of the fountains have shows running throughout the day. The first show tells about a festival, has animatronics statues and projects images and lasers on the ceiling. This show isn't as good as the Atlantis show which tells the story of siblings battling with fire and water over the fate of Atlantis. The animatronics here are much better and use cool fire effects. Behind this fountain is a large aquarium with a variety of tropical fish.
There is a lot to see here for shoppers, but it's also worth the trip just to explore.
