I would not recommend this hotel to anyone travelling to Las Vegas; I've signed up with a new account just to review this hotel, here's why:
Location: The hotel is not located "on the Strip"; it's a 7-10 min walk from there. In addition, it's at the very far end of the strip, not at the heart like Paris, Ceasar's, Bellagio or any of the others.
Internet: In order to get internet access, you have to pay an extra $12. I have nothing against the $12; however, the concept of paying extra for internet access in a 5-star hotel bothers me. I've stayed at 2 & 3-star hotels and they offer free in-room wireless internet access!
Parking: Upon check-in, I was informed by the front desk lady that I would be charged an extra $15 for car valet, parking... etc. This being my first visit to Vegas, I agreed. Later that night, I found out that parking in any of Vegas's hotels that are on the strip is for free. You can go in and park your car yourself or you can drive to the front entrance and have a valet pick it up. When you want it back, just hand them back the ticket with a tip.
Price: It is definitely overpriced; I paid $100 for a Sunday night. After checking in, I found out that we could have stayed in any of the nicer hotels that were actually on the strip for about $65.
Room Service: I've left the best for last... This hotel has a major issue with their room service; we found a large amount of hair in the shower drain; and it this wasn't mine, nor my wife's! Finding this, I called up the front desk and asked for a new room because this one was not clean, they apologized and a new set of keys were sent over in 10 - 15 mins. Entering the new room, we went into the bathroom and found the same issue again!! Calling the front desk, I asked for the hotel manager to come and take a look at the shower drain; 5 - 10 mins later, the Room Service manager came up and was shocked to see this amount of hair in the drain. Her exact words were "I'm surprised someone would have missed that when cleaning the bathroom!". She then promised to have someone come up and clean & sanitize the bathroom immediately. 20 mins later, no one had arrived so I called front desk again asking for another room because we had show reservations that we did not want to miss. The manager offerred us an upgrade to a one-bedroom suite which I thanked her for. However, in this supposedly "clean" suite, we found left-over food from a previous guest in our fridge!
At this point, I was tired of fighting and we had already missed our show. So, to try to enjoy what was left of the night, I dropped by the front desk again on our way out and asked for someone to clean the fridge. The whole process of moving through all those rooms had taken 3 precious hours from our sole night that we were spending in Vegas.
Again, I would not recommend this hotel to anyone going to Vegas; although the hotel looks very nice and the rooms have clean-looking furniture; I rank bathroom hygiene far higher than anything else in a hotel.
To be fair; we ate at their pool restaurant (H2 Eau); they had a delicious burger; I think it was called the "Trump Burger" or something of the sort. My wife also had a salad that was very good. All the furniture in the rooms looked new and was very well sorted.
