My partner and I stayed at the Trump for 9 nights at the beginning of June. We were very impressed with the location - across from Fashion show mall and within walking distance of the strip. It's non-smoking and there is no casino area so very nice for returning back after a tiring day!
The room was perfect - good size with a large (very comfy) bed, a well stocked kitchenette, couch + chairs, plenty of closet/drawer space and a great view of the strip. The bathroom was huge, with a whirlpool/jacuzzi style bath, two sinks and a tv in the mirror (cool!). The shower room was seperated by glass doors, as was the toilet. Cleanliness was 100%. The noise from other rooms and corridors was non-existant however you can hear the music from the pool which plays all day and the sound of the occasional passing train. It wasn't enough to cause annoyance or prevent sleep for us, but a light-sleeper might find the trains to be a problem.
The gym and pool areas are kept to a high standard. However my only gripe is the constant music playing (often the same songs) quite loudly in the pool area. This makes it hard (almost impossible) to relax or read a book. The business centre is ok - quite small with 3 computers for which you can use the internet, it cost around $6 per 15 minutes and extra for printing which is a bit steep. In the fashion show mall food court you'll find it for $10 per 30 mins and there is a little soul food cafe off the strip (just north of encore) which has it for $5 for 30 mins.
We ate at the DJT restaurant for breakfast one morning. It was nice food but the prices weren't on the menu. We were a little shocked when the bill came and it was over $60 for breakfast! It was good, but not THAT good.
The staff and valet were very friendly and helpful. Occasionally there is a wait for your car at the valet, especially on weekends when it got really busy. However we never waited more than 10 minutes and they have comfy chairs to wait on. Checkin and checkout were quick and painless but be warned, las vegas hotels charge a $15 a night resort fee.
