Myself(Ian) and my Partner (Aileen) are from Cork and have stayed here 3 times over the past 3 years and with good reasons...
Michael and Geraldine Rosney offer more than just a comfortable bed and breakfast set in the tranquillity of the hills of Aghadoe! They both really understand how to make you feel welcome and looked after throughout your stay.
Both share an excellent knowledge of the local attractions and hot spots so you'll always have something new and interesting to do. As an amateur photographer I want to experience the sights and having Michael and Geraldines local knowledge means we get the most enjoyment out of our time.
Cahal (The Barman) knew both myself and Aileen by name which is a nice touch considering the hotel was at capacity and he was very busy. Yet, he still took a few minutes out to say hi, ask us how we were and welcome us back.
The bedrooms are nicely laid out with plenty of space, en suite, comfortable pillows (The Championship Room is our fave!) and even though we didn't watch much TV there was plenty options to keep me entertained while Aileen spent an hour fixing her hair.
The food is superb too! We've both experienced Rozzers, Killeen House Hotel's beautiful restaurant which is arguably one of the finest in the area (trust me, we've tried quite a few of them). The Lobster is a must!
We're heading back to Killeen House this weekend for the August Bank Holiday weekend - Friday, Saturday and Sunday night and we're really looking forward to it!!
Two very satisfied customers (and now friends of Killeen House Hotel),
Ian Kenefick & Aileen Kelly.
