I have just returned from a lovely long week-end with my teenage daughter, staying at The Number 21. Run by Matt and Andy, who welcomed us on arrival, while Matt took our cases to our room, Andy made us a cup of tea and took the time to map out places of interest and places to eat etc. Parking was easy - the hotel provides permits no problem. The 21 is in a perfect location, down a quiet side street but within walking distance of the sea (we had a sea view from our room) and Pier,The Lanes, Pavilion, Dome etc, I didn't have to drive for the entire stay. Our room was elegantly furnished and spotlessly clean, maid service everyday, a generous tea tray and fluffy white robes and slippers and complimentary mineral water in the fridge. The breakfasts here are outstanding, I recommend the full English, its a sin not to indulge. Matt and Andy were perfect hosts, they made us feel relaxed and welcome, we had the best time, couldn't ask for more. Would definitely stay here again.

We stayed at The Twenty One in August and it definitely lived up to all the excellent comments made by previous reviewers. It's in a quiet spot, but very convenient for bars, restaurants, shops, the beach and so on. Our room was immaculate, and very tastefully decorated. Excellent breakfasts, brilliant selection of biscuits / snacks and even a fridge in the room. Everything said previously about Matt and Andy is true: they made us feel really welcome, and it was like staying with friends. We would not hesitate to recommend this place, and would certainly stay again.

My sister and I stayed for 3 days in Andy and Matt's great guesthouse at the beginning of October 2008. We were very pleased with everything about our stay. Will definitely return.

Have just returned home from a two night stay at The Twenty One. We booked it on the strength of the other reviews on Trip Advisor and it certainly lived up to the high praise it receives.
Our room was beautiful and very comfortable with everything you could need.
Matt and Andy were so welcoming and took the time to recommend places to visit and good restaurants nearby.
The breakfasts were superb and so generous we found we didn't need to eat again till the evening.
We would not hesitate in recommending this guest house and will certainly be staying there again ourselves.

We picked this place due to the excellent reviews it has already received on here and were not disspapoitned!! Matt and Andie simply could not have been more helpful, from giving advice on where to head out, where to eat, and going above and beyond the call of duty to esnure my partner got the breakfast she wanted!

The Twenty One is impeccably decorated, with every little touch having been tended to, especially the delicious fire extinguishers!!

We stayed in Room 6, which was spacious, beautifully decorated, very clean and very quiet. The breakfast was excellent and the service could not have been better.

I would have no hesitation recommending this place to anyone, in fact I would positively encourage you to go there.

Location wise it is a very short walk from the shops and the pier and the bars!

It was refeshing to come across a place to stay that I absolutely could not fault and this is no doubt due to the dedication, professionalism and personal touch of the owners.
