Traveling to LV in June, last time we stayed at the MC but this time I understand there is construction next door. I hear the pool has been limited in the past due to the dirt from the construction. So we are looking into the Paris, Aladin also still considering the MC. Can anyone give us some help as to which one might be our best bet. I have looked at cost and they seem to be close.

We are traveling with another couple it would be their first time in LV

Thanks everyone!!!

Only one winner here "Paris", the other two Monte Carlo and Aladdin have major major major construction either on site or next door, forget about them for a while

I was at the Aladdin in mid December and the Casino looked like they had finished in there. It looked nice. I also stayed at the Aladdin (August 2006) during the construction and the employees went out of their way to be nice and the construction was not a problem. MC is nice but the construction there is likely to be continuing in June. Pairs is nice but I liked Aladdin better and I think you will get a better deal there.

i would say aladdin- i went in december for my 3rd stay there and loved it- the convenience of the shops, the rooms and bathrooms are large, the staff is great- and most important the location!

I see you're in PA. If you are a member of Costco (don't know if they have them in your area) they are running good "package" deals on the Alladin. I looked for a friend for April 8-12 and air fare from Philadelphia, plus 4 nights at the Aladdin was only $382 per person. The packages are through US Air Vacations, but through Costco, they are about $50-100 cheaper, but the same package. I've never stayed in the Aladdin, but that price might help sway your vote.

The outside of the aladdin is still under construction, which makes getting in and out onto the strip troublesome. i don't know if they will be finished by June, doesn't look like it to me. The inside of the casino appears finished, in fact at some of the tables the little card with the min/max bets actually says Planet Hollywood on them. I love Paris, also like Monte Carlo- of the two I would prefer Paris unless cost is a factor, in which case Monte is probably cheaper.

We stayed at the Aladdin from Dec the 26th to the 31st. Construction within the Hotel is finished. However, there is constrution all up and down the strip. So, I'm not sure where you could stay that construction could be avoided unless you never left your hotel.
