The new hotel is called "The Wynn", it is not scheduled to open until Spring 2005.

Was in LV less than a month ago and word is that April 2005 is the grand opening. A tower is up with a big script "Wynn"...that's all I can tell you.

I heard the Venetian bought it.....?

I read on the LA Times newspaper that this new Wynn resort will have it's first car dealership on the strip, selling Ferraris and Maseratis.

No its not a time share...As for the car dealership, they will have a shop that sells cars in their shopping area. I would expect 3 cars on display.

The Wynn, will open in April, in time for Steve Wynn's wife Elaine's birthday...its her birthday gift....actually, her gift will be the new home/suite/apartment that they are moving into on the top floor!

The area adjacent to the Fashion Show Mall is being turned into sort of a small city. It will house condo's, shops and a hotel. As for specifics on the hotel name - it has yet to be announced.

As everyone else has said - across from the Fashion SHow Mall is Wynn Las Vegas, slated for opening April 2005... it is the "new" Mega Resort and it's prices will so reflect this.

On slate for emplosion and rebuilding - the Stardust and the Frontier - both should come down within the year.

Actually I think that you are referring to Trump. It is a hotel/condo unit, but no casino.
