 Beatles Love

Ok so am curious as to know if this show has ANY acrobatics/gymnastic type stuff or is it a bunch of dancing around to beatles music? Now I like their music but I watched a clip of the show on the mirage website and I have to say it looked kinda strange.. I have heard such mixed reviews and I know it's just a matter of taste. I normally prefer things with a plot BUT if it had a lot of wow factors I think I might like it.

LOVE is an exceptional show. Most if not all really enjoy it. Have seen it twice and it is worth every cent. It works very well with Cirque. You will not be disappointed.

Thanks so much. I am going in Sept and am wondering about it as well. I heard any seat is good. Does that mean even the cheapest seat/back of the house?

There is a kind of plot insofar as the music starts with the early stuff and culminates in the later stuff and the show starts off against a background of austerity and poverty and is quite dark and gradually moves along into optimism and happier times.

The stunts are amazing using trapeze and bungees and trampolines.

We sat near the top of the theatre but not at the very top. If you look at a seating plan I would suggest you sit in the seats just below the theatre lights so you can see everything. A lot of the show happens in the air and it is good to see it from high up.

The only seats I'd avoid are the first few rows. As has been said a lot of the action is overhead and you'd not get a great perspective from there.

Category 2 & 3 seats are both fine. It's not a large theater (in the round) and no seat is too far away.

Yes, thre are acrobatic feats in the show. The emphasis is on the music but they are still there. No show is going to please everyone but I think Love is the favorite of many, many people. It has gotten more postive reviews on this forum than the other Cirque shows. I sat in the very last row and the seat was fine- I could see everything.

I am a huge Beatles fan and so disapointed with this show as it was very new age and a lot of the music as much as I understand the skill involved has been rearranged and remixed so I dont even know its the Beatles anymore. Plus a lot of random tracks from their druggy days. Only two tracks from their One album are played, but the first track in the show "Get Back" was wonderful, apart from that hated it, and actually left early.

But each to their own a lot of people seem to love it!

Grew up with the Beatles and loved this show. I'm not a Cirque fan, but this show had a great mix of both Cirque and Beatles music. Tried not to sing out loud, but it's hard!

I partially agree with belfastrab, regarding the remixed music.

I've seen LOVE twice and would see it again at the drop of a hat - it's one of my favourite Vegas CDS shows, and I've seen them all bar Believe.

But I don't think the remixing of the songs works. The show would have been just fine with the songs as they were - you can't improve on perfection!

Love is a great show. There is so much going on you could see it a couple times just to see it all.

Theater is round so all seats are good. I prefer the balcony seats. A lot of the show happens up in the air. I've sat up close and much prefer the balcony.

Thanks for your advice regarding seats. I will be much more likely to get a decent price since I now know I can get away with getting the cheaper seats and still enjoy (or not!) the show without feeling I should have splurged for better seats.

I know there are different specials going on but even with buy one get one for $25 is still a lot of money. Shows can be a little pricey so I really try hard to research them before going.
