I make my own..it costs me $30.00 and I get 3 cartons out of a bag of tobacco! However, when I go to Vegas in the fall ,I will be buying a carton...heck, it's my vacation!

I love the prices in the states even vegas! so much cheaper than back here!

BTW, no one will offer you a cigarette....they haven't done that in years! They used to sell them with the girls (sling strapped) around the neck though!

$12 for a pack of 20 here in the UK, so 8.00 isnt too bad.

It's all relative. If you drive 5-10 minutes from the Strip or go to the Pauite Smoke Shop downtown you'll pay nothing close to $8 for a pack.

I've found that you need to be playing $25 per hand blackjack before a pit boss will comp cigarettes these days.

Stop at the gas station on Trop just behind the MGM parking garage there. Pick up a carton for just over $30.

I do this every trip....bargain. Nothing worse than running out of cigs while one is gambling!

How long ago was this for that price -- I guess its a moot point for us here in KY as cigarettes are under 5 a pac as of now -- before our taxes went up they were just or over a tad of 4 a pack -- cartons are running about 40 here for 10 packs -- maybe 38-39 on special-- we will buy them at home before the trip and afterwards are quitting...at least thats the plan but can anyone concur on this price for NOW time frame...

Just wanted to wish Francine good luck on quitting. I was a 20 a day for 20 years smoker and quit about 5 months ago. Cigarettes are so expensive here it was either quit or put off our Vegas trip for another year :)

Cigs were $35 a carton from CVS in May, but almost $6 from 7-11.

I had quit for 6 months before my last Vegas trip, but fell off the wagon with a bump when we got there. :(
