I am going to Vegas with two friends. We would like to share a hotel room, but preferably one with a separate bedroom where you can close the door from the sitting area. Two bedrooms would be great, too.

It looks like the Residence Inn offers this, but are there any other hotels that have anything like this? Preferably on or near the strip?

try the Hilton Grand Vacations, right next door to the Hilton. They have studio, 1 and 2 bedroom suites. If cost is an issue then the 1 bedroom suite is great - the sofa pulls down into a double bed - not that comfortable but not bad. There is a seperate bedroom which has the jacuzzi tub in but there is a seperate shower/toilet.

If you are looking at casino/hotels, you will probably do much better price-wise to just rent two connecting regular rooms. That way you get two baths also.

Hawthorne Suites sits right behind the San Remo, and Tropicana, walking distance to the four corners area. Nice staff, reasonable rates.

Thanks. It sounds like if we want to stay at a casino or place with a nicer pool, it would be better to just get 2 adjoining rooms then?

Otherwise it sounds like Hawthorn Suites is a good location and something to consider.

Bumping up to see if anyone knows of any others? We really want to stay at a casino on the strip with a this criteria. Maybe we're asking for too much, but can't hurt to ask, right? :)

We got 2 adjoining rooms at the Monte Carlo for $69 each (2 queen beds in each) and it worked out great.
