Roulette to get drinks/points |
|
Just wondering...it seems like a no brainer...but if we are 4 people and we split up into two groups...and one bets red every time and the other bets black, and then at the end of the night we just split our winnings, won't we have racked up player points AND been able to sit and drink in the casino for free? Unless, of course, green comes up... |
|
"...Unless, of course, green comes up..." you've answered your own question! What makes you think you will have any winnings to split? What happens if green comes up? Think about it. People do this all the time on roulette, craps (pass-don't pass). The casinos know it can spot people doing this easily - the house edge is with them, always. You know it, you've already thought about green hitting and still posted this. why? you know it won't work For video roulette some use a betting method that is widely reported on the Internet forums. This question is asked often, a quick search will help you - although a recent post that answered this has the answer wrong, close, but still wrong. There is a part of the equation you need to know in order to try make this work, in which the goal is to play to earn points with as little ROR as possible. Some casinos do not accumulate points for video roulette.

Well...because...I figure that if we each play $10 each spin for one hour and green comes up once, we have lost $20.00 and still earned all of the points and received drinks. Still ahead of the game, as far as I can see it, no???

you could also sit at a penny machine, actually play a penny (or not) at a time and get drinks, but what's the fun in that, you're coming all the way to vegas just for the free drinks - just saying -

Some points to raise here……………… 1.You don’t just have to pay the tables to get free drinks, playing a 1c slot will get the same perks – Just remember to tip the waitress! 2.Playing $10 per spin roulette will not get you rated. 3.Remember the roulette ball has no memory. It could land on green more often than you think; the American tables have 0 and 00!

I do think in most Casinos that you will get better and more frequent drink service at the roulette table than at a penny slot. As far as the strategy - not for me - but if you want to do it , and most importantly - you will have FUN doing it, then what the heck!

i think o.p. is looking for info on play at roulette slot ,not the table game. i.m.o. play for 5 cents and get the free drinks

outside of the 0/00 issue (which is a 5.25% edge for the house on your bet) the pit boss will figure out what you're doing and may stop your rating (if you're betting enough in the first place). Of course it's not "illegal" but they can ask you to stop anyways :-)
