I love the wrap around slots- there is an Eagle theme with American Indians, and a Running Wild and an African theme and I think a Blender- Whip it. I have won (and lost) lots on those, even without a bonus. Another one I like is something like Cows from Outer-Space. Not sure of the exact name, but lots of wilds and is really cute.
I always have to play the Wizard of Oz even though I have had bad luck there to. There is something about those flying monkeys and Glenda!
We are visiting in November and I have already starting watching the forum for what is new since our January trip. Can't wait!
Oh and the Mr. Cashman machines are nice too.. random bonuses are nice...
The hot hot penny slots can be fun.. IF you trip the bonus.
i love any game with a fun bonus... but my absolute fav is BARKING BUCKS
the bonus was too much fun. (helps that i was winning enough that i played the same $20 for almost 4 hours)
I also love "the one with the name i always forget":
Choy Sun Doa (i looked it up). Its an Aristocrat and can be very profitable.
It's similar to Pompeii, but you must get three or more golden nuggets to get the bonus. Before you start your free spins, you must choose you number of free spins and the corresponding multiplier for the wild wizards.
Lucky Lemmings and Pyramid of the Kings are also great slots, Lucky Lemmings has a brilliantly funny bonus, Pyramid of The Kings can go completely crazy in the bonus. I must say i nearly always enjoy WMS slots, with the exception of Dukes of Hazard. That one just plain sucks.
For those of you looking for the big wheel of fortune where everyone sits around it and there is a big fat wheel in the middle, in June I know there was one at MGM on the right just past he lion exhibit. Not sure if it's there now.
I also love mystical mermaid. When Bobby Darin starts singing Splish Splash, it makes me so happy.
Yes surfmonk, I just saw the sit around wheel of fortune at MGM by the Lion habitat and also saw one way in the back at Flamingo last week. I played Mr Cashman and Cops and Donuts at Excalibur, and had quite a bit of luck there on the Hot Hot Penny. I hit my $291 jackpot (small to some - large to me) on the Hot Shot Progressive penny slot at Harrah's. There was just something addictive about getting the bonus round on that and hearing it say "Hot Shot!" though I kept hearing "Russia!" instead :) We also played the Ebay game at Luxor and had some good luck on it. We first sat down at the one at Bill's and plunked $10 in before we could tell it wasn't going to bonus for us. I jumped on the one at Luxor when I saw one lone guy hitting the community bonuses on it and then when I got $80 on a bonus round my friends joined in. We all were entertained for a while. I love the Wizard of Oz but Glenda never came to visit too often - such an addrenal rush though to hit that bonus. Tried the Top Gun (similar concept) at the Wynn and only got one fly By bonus, so wasn't very impressed with that. The Star Wars machines at O'Shea's I think it was were fun too.
If anyone has been to Vegas and done the slots lately
can anyone tell me how common the TEXAS TEA games are in casinos
that is really about the only game I have any luck with and I really like to play it
I know it is an older game but there were some in Bossier City when we went a while back
are there still some in Vegas casinos and is there anyway to find out WHERE they are besideds asking a floor person in the casinos...
Tx- when we were there last December I remember seeing them at Flamingo, Bellagio and MGM. Sorry, can't give you directions to where they were in each casino.
tx native, I just checked harrahs.com slot finder and according to their web site, they're at all their properties...Bally's, Harrah's, Caesars, Flamingo, Imperial and Paris. Hopefully the site stays updated. Have fun.
There is some Mega Bucks, or something like that, machine in the Palazzo near the rewards card desk that was lots of fun...even though I stayed too long and lost big time...lol. My wins were up over $150 at one point.
