Echo...they have Press Your Luck at Harrah's in KC so assuming they are at some (maybe all) of the Vegas Harrah's properties. Our last trip was in February, and I don't remember seeing them at that time but usually don't play those community gaming machines since I haven't been lucky on any of them.
I've always loved the WoF machines - even though they always seem to take my money...!
The best luck I had on them last year were the ones at The Wynn.
Also found a great machine at NYNY called Frog Princess - lots of bells and whistles and bonus rounds and won about $300 or so once I finally stopped...but I was playing it for hours !
Does anyone know if Frog Princess machines are still around?
Frog Prince/Fort Knox slots are at the Venetian and I won a lot on them in July !(see my TR) My favorite slots are the ones I win on, so those would include Pay Dirt, Wolf Run Fort Knox and Shop til you Drop - all at th Venetian.
I've always been a fan of Hex Breaker... Hoodoo the cat has always been kind to me!
I also look for the Aristocrat Games (like Sun and Moon, Pompeii and Miss Kitty) pay the best... The graphics are the best, but I'm not there to see pretty graphics... lol I like the cash!
I like s machine called Blast Off. It is based on sheep, dynamite and explosives. There are two bonuses you can get, and if you hit it right, you could so really well. They are also multi denominational. Look for the big red button in the middle, and you are off. I won $1600 on pennies with max bet (300) at the Beau Rivage in Biloxi.
Okay Compassquest! Just where is that machine at the Beau Rivage? Sounds like one I have to play!
There are a few, but this one is right near the end of the bar in the middle of the casino. There are several rows of slots on the left as you enter the casino, and this one is one the end near the bar. Just browse near the bar...you will find it, but I can't guarantee you will win. We also played it at Hard Rock in Tampa, and a woman next to me won $1700 and $1400 playing quarters on it. I was so envious!
Just got back Saturday (sigh), and found myself gravitating to stacked wild games (L'il Lady, Wolf Run, Grand Monarch), Life of Luxury progressives, Mystical Temple progressives, Cashman Tonight, Hot Hot Penny, and Hexbreaker 2. The stacked wilds can be good and not-so-good to you; Life of Luxury and Mystical Temple are fun as long as the bonuses come often enough and you get a shot at the progressive. The others were just fun to play (random Cashman bonuses, never played HHP before and liked it; new game format for Hexbreaker 2 (versus Hexbreaker).
There is ONE Frog Princess at the Paris. Absolutely loved it when I was there in July. The bonus is great...princess gone wild, lol. Was leaving for the airport and put one last $10 in, got the bonus and cashed out with $86. Nice way to end my trip :)
I had no luck with the eBay slots. Also felt that I was spinning much more than I wanted to for fear of not being a part of the bonus.
Had alot of fun and some luck with the Wizard of Oz and the bonuses were entertaining.
I like playing Acropolis with Jackpot Party. Have won $450 on a bonus round and several others over $150.
I also played Cops & Donuts for the first time this last trip. The bonus round was HILARIOUS with the cop eating all the donuts and his shirt exploding! I also loved the speed trap bonus with all the crazy excuses. Was laughing so hard people walking by me probably thought I was crazy. Will look to play those again.
I love the original Hexbreaker slot - not the new Hexbreaker 2.
Goldfish rocks!
They have that pig race community game at the Golden Nugget downtown - I have never laughed so hard during a bonus round (my lil Cleopatra-esque piggie kept tripping...lol).
My favorite slots of 2008 are Wizard of Oz and Monopoly (with the elevators - look up.....and WIN!!!).
