Not my favorites and as already mentioned, it seems the latest trend is community gaming slots;
Monopoly
Press Your Luck
Ebay
The Little Pig Games
Happy Days
They are all (at least the ones I've played recently in Biloxi, Tunica, and KC) at least 45 cents minimum bet to be part of the community gaming, and they really like to eat my money :(
Lately I seem to be picking machines by the music they play...those darned manufacturers know how to get our attention! LOL
What exactly is the name of the pig game? Does anyone know? I'm going in a couple of days and I would like to try it out.
I thought it was Little Pigs but can't find it on the KC Slot Finder...it's the one that has the piggy that dresses like Elvis. LOL
Anyway with the community gaming one, it has several bonus rounds, and one has a pig race. You preselect the pig you want on the screen of the machine you are playing and if it goes to the race bonus, you win a certain amount based on where your pig places on the race.
One more to add and then I'll quit..the Wheel of Fortune Big Wheel (it is 80 cents minimum bet)...geesshhh for that amount, I go play a dollar machine! LOL
speaking of
Wheel of Fortune, are there any of them left in Veagas? We are going in a week, as you can tell by the question we haven't been in about two years.
How about slots at the Wynn, any fun ones there?
Love slots at the Wynn, out of the last 5 trips I have won at the same machines 4 out of 5 times, so they have been lucky for me.
These aren't your fun video bonus round machines but what I would call the old fashioned kind. They are multi-denom from 1 cent, 2, 5, & dimes. There is a row of four near the pathway on the right close to the main Valet parking entrance. I believe there are 9 lines with a max bet of 90 credits.
Have fun!
Ive always had great luck with Texas Tea and Lobstermania..
skeet- if you're talking about the big wheel of fortune machine (8 machines connected to one huge wheel) I saw it in downtown, I think it was Fremont, several weeks ago. Don't remember seeing any on the strip- but then again I wasn't really looking for them either.
I've always had love/hate relationships with cleo and cleo II, she can be really mean! One of the older ones I still enjoy playing is mystical mermaid. I really love that bonus. I'm also a sucker for any slots with "stacked wilds"- coyote moon, wolf run, lil lady.. you name it.
They have a Press Your Luck slot machine??? With Whammies and everything? Where did you see those?
Also, I saw a WoF big wheel at Paris when I was there in April. Perhaps they moved it?
Worst machine in Vegas is the huge EBAY. The scam is that everyone participates in the bonus round, if it happens. penny machine but minimum bet 75cents at the TI, 50 cents at Bills. But it has a timer in it so if you are not constantly spinning, the bonus round could come up and your out of luck from the timer. Its the only machine that forces you to keep spinning. and nobody wins big unless they are betting $5 a spin on a penny machine.
Wheel of Fortunes, noted at places like the Mirage, TI, Wynn, the 3 coin max are now 5 coin machines. The Mirage, PH, have eliminated many of the quarter machines. Harrahs casinos removed them all.
The big penny and nickel versions are still there but the progressive is well over $6,000,000 and no one has ever hit it.
Bottom line, the casinos remove all the good, old, machines and now are filled with ripoff 25 line penny machines like Hot Shots, that give you lots of wins that are less than you bet on a spin. They want you playing $5 a spin on a penny machine with an 85% payback
My recommendation, play the oldest machines you can find, either a quarter a spin or $1 a spin.
