>>Next time I go to Encore or Wynn I will know to dress better. I was wearing Bannana Rebublic, Guess Jeans and Rockport shoes the first and only time I stayed at Wynn 2 years ago and boy I got TONS of dirty looks. Even the CW ignored me. I went up to my room and Hid. LOL Maybe Wynn has calmed down some since then.<<
I don't really understand the brands, but am I to understand from this that 'smart casual' dress isn't good enough at the Wynn?
Different people have different perceptions of what 'smart casual' is. I honestly don't think that has anything to do with it. I've been in places like Wynn in a beach cover up having come from the pool area playing the machines and have always been treated well.
Fun, I'm not sure if that's how it was when Wynn opened, but I had no problems on my June stay.
I was wearing cargo shorts, white tennis shoes, and polo shirts. (Non name brand)
I was treated great at the Wynn. I even cruised by a craps table and the guy running the table was trying to call me over with a big smile on his face.
Couldn't have been treated better at this place....
Thanks underpar! I so want to be like you in 10 years! Sorry the blackjack wasn't too profitable. Any memorable splits/double-downs? I'd love to stay at Wynn...I just don't think I can afford to eat there without it cutting into my gambling bankroll!
Thanks gg and l. I'm staying at the Wynn for the first time soon (using the Red Card promotion) and the comment I quoted unnerved me a little. I don't go on holiday to have dirty looks directed at me!
I've been to the Wynn for meals and drinks and have always enjoyed wonderful service, so thanks for reassuring me that this hasn't changed.

Are you kidding? I want to "be like the guy" NOW.
At least the part of the guy with enough discretionary income to routinely pay $400 for a meal of raw fish and drop thousands at the BJ tables and act like its nothing to him.
So what? I'm never jealous of anyone else's discretionary income...he earned it, he can spend it any way he wants!
We have to stay away from that bj pit!
Sounds like you had a great time. Iam sure the cards
will be in our favor come Dec.
If not, the double Don's are on you Playa!
Does anybody really care?
I've always been treated really well at Wynn too, and was never hugely dressed up in expensive clothes --
