Is it as hard to get into the one in NY as they say or is that just a lot of hype?

Get the spicy jar sauce. It's excellent. The waiter we had at Rao's in Vegas relocated from the NYC restaurant. He was at Rao's NYC for like 20 years.

Raos is great - try and get a table on the patio overlooking Caesars pools.

I was disappointed. I thought it would be outstanding but I only thought it was okay. Their chicken dish was pretty good but I thought B&B was noticeably better overall. Even for meatballs I like Marotano's better at the Rio. I hope you will have a better experience.
