I saw articles stating that it would be- first date mentioned was in August, another report said Labor Day. Is it definitely gone? Any news of what will replace it- I heard possibly an Asian themed Club as a companion spot to Social House...?

I don't like Tangerine because it was in the preparation to get rid of the pirate theme. Now TI is washed up and Luxor is soon to come.

Hi Lulu---We picked up a Vegas magazine over Labor Day that said it was closing over Labor Day. HOwever, the website says it is still open but with different hours. We are hoping to check it out in Oct, as it has an outdoor area which looks cool. Are you going?

It was supposed to close the first week of September, but LV Advisor says it got a reprieve to the end of the year. Elsewhere I heard end of Sept. Who knows what will really happen.

Are all the themes leaving Vegas?

For the most part, I think that they are what draw the crowds.

It was open over Labor Day, but it looked dead when I went past.

I don't think themes are leaving Vegas, but as far as clubs go- they are just trying to make them bigger and better. Which is the reason why Bellago is re-doing Light.

We stayed at TI soon after it opened, and it was dead then already. Might not have attracted enough people. I agree on the casinos getting rid of their themes, who cares to visit if they all look alike?

I read where they changed the plans to close it because of Bellagio deciding to renovate Light but did cut back on days. The Luxor opening influenced the moves. The renovation plans are to provide more room, even adding a 2nd floor. Tangerine was just too small and probably a fire trap.

The deck is an interesting place to watch the siren show, the bow of the pirate ship just about hits the deck. It was crowded in August on a Wednesday night. I showed the room key and just walked in skipping the line.

Interesting note, the bouncers all wear hearing protection, probably because the noise level of the so called music exceeds OSHA rules.
