We took some business clients there for a business dinner and a good time was had by all. The food was excellent, excellent but expensive. But what can you say, it's Las Vegas. Service was superb. We only had a couple different steak versions but everyone was happy with their selection. Great flavor and cooked just right. The sides are... more

Took my wife here for our one big dinner out while on our first trip to Vegas. Was recommended by a friend, but he didn't mention how expensive it is (probably because he was on business and expensed it). As we were on a bit of a budget, I at first didn't think we could afford to stay, but my... more

STRIPSTEAK at Mandalay Bay provided me with one of the best steaks of my life. The steak was prepared to perfection and the accompaniments complimented the meal and held their own. STRIPSTEAK doesn’t reinvent the wheel when it comes to culinary expertise but they do know how to put out well-prepared food. The truffled mac-and-cheese is a must! Service was... more

I had the heirloom tomato soup and my husband had the salad special - which was basically 3 tomatoes chopped up on a plate - for $17! - bit overpriced. Mains - I had the 10oz filet mignon - cooked to perfection (medium-rare) fantastic taste, great steak. My husband had the rib eye which was chewy in places. We ordered... more

(i hope that headline doesn't offend anyone) it could just be that these bleak times have forced me to dig deeper for bargains as i'm not sure if these high end las vegas restaurants ever offered prixe fixe menus before but i've been scoring some phenomenal deals this year from my $209 round trip tickets to barcelona to this outstanding... more

I went there with my boyfriend on a trip. When we first came in the waiter was very nice. Then we had two drinks that were way to strong. I ordered steak and asparagus. I felt like i could have cooked that steak or better at home. Later on that night i was very sick from the food. I mean... more

The food here is very good. When we sat down we were served their duck fat french fries which are extremely rich but irresistible nonetheless. However, the "modern" steak house is definitely not for me. The chairs were uncomfortable and music was blaring so loud that we had to shout at each other to hear anything; unfortunately everyone else was... more

Went to Stripsteak for a special LV dinner. My husband had seen the restaurant online and wanted to try it. The only thing that was great was the oysters on the half shell. The wine was extremely overpriced, the food was okay, not spectacular. We had ordered asparagus for a side and it was terrible. Tough, bland, just horrible. They... more
