We ate at Carnegie and assuming a deli couldn't be THAT expensive we didn't check the menu first. The mile high deli sandwiches (like pastrami or turkey) were $22-24 EACH. We ended up going for a more affordable grilled cheese, as we couldn't see spending $50 on a casual lunch. Everyone raved about the Matzo soup. The portions are large--one... more

Maybe even bigger, but we knew that going in. My husband got the combo Ruben and I got bologna. I grew up with New York cold cuts and you just can't get that flavor where I live now - it was heaven! Neither of us were able to conquer our meals but they were so good, we gave it the... more

My husband and I were in Las Vegas a few days ago and I was really excited to eat at the famous Carnegie Deli at the Mirage as we didn't get around to eating at the one in NYC when we were there. The portions are huge, however $14.95 for a pastrami sandwich is a bit much, especially since they... more

Purchased takeout, pastrami on a kaiser roll, side of sauerkraut and pickles - YUM! Given the crowds in the sitting area, I recommend getting takeout and enjoying the food in the quiet of your own hotel room. more

The line was something out of a Tolkien novel. We waited a good 20 before sitting down. I ordered a water and caught sight of something heavenly being delivered to a nearby table. It was a reuben, open-faced with a fat deuce of swiss and sourkraut piled high. I would have ordered it, but my dome was feeling pretty rough... more

During trips, I ate here three times, twice for lunch and once for breakfast. Both lunches were pastrami sandwiches and both were of the same quality; pastrami had little taste to it. Sandwiches were huge and with respect to quantity I got my moneys worth. The breakfast was very good and would go back there again for that; both quantity... more

I went to the Carnegie Deli because of it's reputation in New York and was extremely disappointed. It was by far the absolute worst corned beef sandwich I've ever had anywhere in North America. The meat was extremely dry and tasteless. The bread also dry and crumbly. I'm sure you can't go wrong by eating anywhere else in Las Vegas... more

Pretty tasty although their sandwiches are so big you really need a fork to eat them. more

We admit it. We got suckered in because of the name. Shame on us. My wife and I had never been to THE Carnegie Deli in New York City, but it obviously has a famous, recognizable name, and we're suckers for good pastrami, corned beef, deli food in general, so we decided we couldn't go wrong here. How wrong we... more

We went here for lunch and ordered their fruit plates. The food was good, but we heard the waiter comment to a waitress that we must be on a diet for what we ordered. He only came to us three times: to ask for our order, deliver our order, and give us the check. Service could be improved. more
