Great sushi but found the ambiance lacking. Definitely quieter than expected. Great view of the waterfalls when you sit in the traditional side. Service was slower than expected but we weren't in a hurry so it wasn't a big deal. If you want good sushi but more lively try Tao in the Venetian. more

Wonderful food and wonderful service. Excellent to sit where you can overlook the pond and koi. I had a mishap and hit my engagement ring on the marble table top... sending it soaring and landing who knows where. Someone on the wait staff noticed the two carat diamond under another table and brought it over to me.... honesty you don't... more

We ate here one night while staying at Wynn Las Vegas in early July 2009. My wife went to the restaurant to make a reservation on our return from a day out on the strip so we were casually dressed. A very snooty receptionist who was busy being chatted up by an ageing lothario was clearly annoyed at having to... more

Excellent setting and fantastic surroundings BUT the food was ok, not bad but just ok. Also the price of the alcoholic drinks was the dearest we encountered in all the Vegas restaurants we have used. I love the Wynn and its other restaurants but Okada is over rated. more

Japanese dining that is exquisite is hard to find. Okada hits the mark with a Samauri Sword! Outstanding dinner. Either a la carte or at the grille the diner is amazing. I recommend the Kobe beef in the peppercorn sauce - melts in your muth. Great service and atmosphere! The waterfall outside the dining room almost makes you feel like... more

For a Westerner, Japanese cuisine is about as foreign as it gets. Yes, since Jerry Louis first began performing his crude imitations of the Japanese, Americans have become acquainted with an awkward interpretation of the fragile genre of cooking. Now omnipresent, sushi restaurants dot the American landscape from the highbrow establishments of New York's gentrified Meatpacking District to the despicably... more

Visited Okada in late Oct - this was a special meal with my partner to celebrate a Birthday. The two of us were seated at one of the round booths to the right of the restaurant, close to the window. Staff were professional, friendly and service was great. Food was fab, ordered the Japanese Oysters – Simply amazing – can’t... more

I just dined at Okada this Saturday night, and the experience was better than I expected. The service was outstanding (we had a Japanese waitress), and even though I'm picky with restaurants being authentic, I was pleased with the twist they gave to the menu. The only thing I didn't like was the size of dessert. Way too big!!!! Half... more
