although the view was good, the restaurant was bad.The menu was very plain eg steak or fish. The food was not well cooked or of good quality. Furthermore it was very expensive, definitely not value for money. Service was poor compared to the hotels in the strip. It was our only bad meal in 2 weeks travelling around the us. more

Our very last dinning in Las Vegas happened here. We arrived early to have a view of the city at sun set. We took a drink, at the nearby bar. When we were ready to move to the restaurant, we waited an additional 20 minutes for our table. (With a reservation!) We were not happy with this, but we had... more

The only thing this place has going for it is the view. The food is terrible and trapped in the seventies. I am totally convinced that my ceasar salad was one from a bag and not freshly made. The waiter didn't know what the side dish was with my husbands blackend tuna. How is that possible. The wine was great.... more

We ate breakfast at Lucky's. It was a killer breakfast for $5.99. However, we waited for 40 minutes for our food. I asked and she said the food was ready but she didn't bring it out for another 10 minutes. I won't choose to eat there again. more

We booked a deluxe room with the Stratosphere and when we arrived we were asked by check-in if we wanted to upgrade to a mini-suite we said yes. They asked us if we wanted a view of the strip or overlooking the pool, we said the strip. After we had parted with our money we were informed that the room... more

Just returned from a two night stay and the room was better than i expected. The bed was fantastic and I got free upgade as my room was not ready. But I did not use all the extra space. The faucet leaked in the bathroom and I lost all water pressure in the middle of night each night (I shower... more

We were treated like VIPs from the minute we walked in. A nice man took our luggage, helped with check in, explained the amenities, and took us to our room. The room was great, 22nd floor, with a spa tub. We ate at The Top of the World but we were rushed for time so we went back to the... more

It would have been nice to know that the Stratosphere is so far off the main strip that it's 1) hard to get to 2) a little on the dodgy side. Although the views were great (and I'd highly recommend it) it was a little hard to get to and from, unless you take a cab, and the area isn't... more

Just finished 6 nights at the Strat. Overall a good time- just a couple points of interest for those considering staying at this Hotel. First it's a little out of the way- it's a long walk to the center of the Strip- and the deuce bus (due to traffic) takes a while. The area around the Hotel was fine for... more
