We had a buy 1 get 1 free coupon so lunch buffet for 2 was under $12 total with tax. Food was ok but very bland. Roast beef had very little taste and other hot dishes were kinda generic. Mashed potatoes had little flavor and mac and cheese tasted like what my school cafeteria used to serve. Cold salads were... more

It is hard to write a buffet review for Las Vegas, knowing that there are so many amazing buffets in town, they are judged harshly. The first buffet I ate at in Las Vegas was the Golden Buffet. I thought it was great, until I ate at the Rio, which was AMAZING. The bottom line is, you get what you... more

We had a late dinner here, so there was no line or crowd. The food was good and there was a wide variety of choices. Service bringing our drinks was good. They made a point to warn us near closing time in case we wanted anything else. Overall we found it a nice dinner. Cost these days is about $20/person,... more

We ate here for breakfast on our first morning in Las Vegas. The food was fresh and the buffet was clean and well-kept. I had a great amd-to-order omlette. There were coldcuts and fist, biscuits, gravy, sausage, bacon, eggs (made-to-order), fresh fruit, and other various items. Our waitress wasn't very friendly or quick, but she was okay. Overall, it was... more

We arrived in Las Vegas that afternoon (Thursday) and drove around loooking for a place to eat since we were all starving from the long flight. We decided to go downtown to Fremont and saw the Golden Nugget and thought we would try it... the choices on the buffet were not as much as we expected, the beef was salty,... more

I was very disappointed with this buffet. We had tickets to see a show at Golden Nugget and decided to try their buffet since we had a couple of hours to spare. BIG MISTAKE! We went on Sunday for their brunch. We don't drink Champagne, but were charged full price anyway, which wasn't a big deal, but the food was... more

Made a special trip to the The Buffet at the Golden Nugget for their world class bread pudding only to find that it was mediocre at best. Sushi was sub par and the guy handing out the sashimi wouldn't give me any more ahi tuna. A horrible buffet experience although I'm not surprised. The waiter was strange. more

Had a VIP line pass and was able to skip the guest line and get the next available table. Food was hot, fresh and tasty. Variety was plentiful. From fried shimp, boneless spare ribs, sushi, salad, desserts, crabs, pizza, roast beef & turkey carving stations, vegtables, etc... Decor was average. more

Awesome buffet, I really enjoy the low-key atmosphere of staying just off the strip. Bowling is a plus after meetings. more

To start with, service was good, drinks were provided promptly and plates were cleared frequently. The selection wasn't as wide as some places, but most items, such as salmon, pizza, roast meat, were well above average. There were separate stacks of hot and cold plates, the hot food was kept hot (and replaced if getting old) and the cold food... more
