We were there on Sat. Sept.23/09 before going to see Penn & Teller. We absolutely loved the food there. The restaurant is nicely decorated and yes I would agree that the prices are high - but so is every good restaurant in Vegas. Vegas is just not a cheap place to eat anymore if you want a good restaurant! The... more

Recently visited as part of our stay to Vegas, we were in one of those ticket queues for KA (ticketsforless or something like that!) and they were running a promo for 50% off all food so having not had a decent Indian for a fortnight we decided to give it a go as the vouchers were only a few quid... more

The Gaylord in the Rio provides a wonderful Indian dining experience. The decor is nice, the service attentive, and the food exceptional. I had the prawn vindaloo and was well satisfied. I don't like Las Vegas, and it is doubtful I will return, but if I did I certainly would make a repeat visit to the Gaylord Indian Restaurant. more

I went here with my wife and kids for dinner last night. This place is very well decorated on the inside, my wife loved the decor. i on the other hand, loved the food, the chicken saag, which was not on the menu but the chef made for me, was the best i have ever had! try this dish, if... more

Tried Gaylords in London & San Francisco and loved them, went to Las Vegas and had terrible indian food. The service was pleasant but the food was cheap flavorless food that shouldn't be served in a nice restaurant. more

My husband and I love Indian food! We thought we were in for a treat when we saw this restaurant at the Rio. It looked so fancy and nice! But there is a reason we were the only people in the dining room at 6pm! The food was way overpriced!!! You even had to buy the rice separate from your... more

This place gets a bad rap here on Trip Advisor so when my wife suggested stopping in for an early dinner I was a little apprehensive. I'm glad to say I was wrong, it turned out to be a great dinning experience. The menu is large, with a vast selection of Indian food and a large array of Vegitarian selections.... more

Five years ago, this was undoubtedly Las Vegas' best Indian restaurant. The quality more than made up for the price. Gaylord elsewhere in the US is also still excellent. This particular Gaylord in a corner of the Rio is downright disappointing. For such a well-appointed, beatiful restaurant the food is so bad that I only took about 5 mouthfuls of... more

This would top my list of worst food for the money paid. $20 for buffet which hardly has 5 varieties. Taste was terrible, didn't taste like Indian at all. It would be bland even for Americans. Naan seemed as if it was reheated from a frozen packet. Don't waste your money here. Service wasn't great either. Decor was good though.... more

We went at lunchtime and there was a very limited menu which was quite disappointing. We got served lukewarm tap water which was awful. Didn't like my starter but that was just personal preference - my bloked troughed his and said it was great! Hardly any vegetarian choice - my veggie curry consisted of green beans and sweetcorn - unfortunately... more
