Don't judge this book by its cover. It may look dumpy but the food is a good. My favorite is the fried oysters (plump, never over cooked, very light coating), the rest of my group enjoyed the "all you can eat seafood plater" and orders of fried catfish. Love the salad bar but everything else that comes out of the kitchen tends to be over cooked!! Also they need to redecorate the place is run down. more

Hush Puppy has been around for decades. It looks a little like a dive but you will find the best fried shrimp and catfish in Vegas! The hush puppies are the best anywhere! Order the all you can eat and plan on not worrying about your diet. Just enjoy the delicious food and kitschy decor. more

The Hush Puppy on charleston Rd in Las Vegas is the best, I eat there at least 2 to 3 times everytime I visit Vegas. The catfish is great and the hush puppy's are to die for. Also don't for get the green tomato relish a must have with your catfish! more

The best catfish west of the Mississippi! Order the NATURAL, not the farm raised, with the jalapeno hush puppies. You won't be disappointed. Worth the drive from L.A. all by itself. more
