The Komol gets skipped because it's in the same plaza as Lotus of Siam, but perhaps this restaurant should have been voted Best Of Las Vegas. The food was amazing. thai's national soup - tom yum goon (sp?) was one of the best I've ever had, but of word of warning. I asked for hot, and the waiter raised his thumb...if that happens be careful!!. My lips were burning after drinking it. more

We have been dining at Komol since 1994. For my family and I, it is one of the best Thai restaurant in Vegas. The restaurant is located off Sahara in a large strip mall that reminds me of a huge fort. The closest large hotel to this restaurant is the Sahara hotel and casino. We went to Komol couple times during our Las Vegas trip in March 07. Komol was less than five mins drive off strip (on east Sahara). Their vegetarian menu was huge and food was excellent. Their Tofu satay and peanut sauce was great starter. Meekrob was delicious. We loved their Kangpa; it was the best!!! Northeastern food was also amazing.... more

Went for a week in Vegas April 2003. One veggie, one vegan. Looked up this place, hidden away in a very plain setting. Great food, nice people, clean & well-lit but not too much(!).
