I am a 100% pure blooded Italian, so maybe I am spoiled, but Battista's hole in the wall is compelte crap! The only reason they are still around is because of the constant turnover of tourists in Vegas. But it was truly the worst Italian meal I have had in my life! The tomato sauce clearly came directly out of... more

We were looking forward to a nice Italian dinner when we made reservations. When we arrived we also kind of liked the rather rustic decor, but then things went down hill fast! Basically, the food was almost inedible. I hope that other customers realize that this is not real Italian food. It is someone's misguided idea of what Italian food... more

Once again we had a great experience at Battistas. We were there 5 years ago for our wedding reception and it was fun and a good meal. Nice to see Gordie still there playing his accordion and singing. Resturant very cozy and old Vegas style. Service was good, food good, free wine with meal, and great little cappacino. Chicken Parm... more

Menus on the wall, all you can drink house wine with meals, and cappuchino afterward, all included in the price. The highlight of this place is the accordian player, Gordy (He's hot tonight!!) The service and food were excellent. The only knock I have is that the cappuchino tasted more like a hot chocolate. Recommend any veal dish. Come prepared... more

This restaurant was recommended to us as being friendly, with good food and good value. The wait staff was pressed, friendly but not always easy to catch, and we were there early. Don't rely on the on-line reservation system; it often doesn't work. Just call. Dinner comes with salad, wine, and cappuccino included in the price. The bread and the... more

We recently visited 4/09 with a group of 10. We walked in with no reservations and were shown to a table immediately. This is the great old Vegas atmosphere. The menu is on the wall in the dining areas and has a good selection of Italian style dishes. Our waiter, Vito, was a great source of information on all aspects... more

Extremely convenient to the strip, just behind Wild Bills and Flamingo Casinos. A very interesting atmosphere from 1960's Las Vegas all over the walls to the little old guy that plays the accordion at your table. The food is very good for the price and you get their house wine (white and red) complementary with your entree. The pasta is... more

Visiting Battista's Hole in the Wall restaurant each year has become a tradition for us. It is a place that everyone needs to experience at least once while in Las Vegas. It has a wonderful ambiance and the décor consists of tons of signed celebrity photos and memorabilia all conveying an “old Las Vegas” aura! Plus there is great older... more

The choices are limited, same stuff all the time on the menu, overpriced, pretty loud, interesting decor, and food nothing to rave about. I agree with other reviews that you can do better. more
