Although I read a few reviews that this is not the best Italian restaurant, it may be that to Italians, just like Panda Express is not that great to a Chinese. Nevertheless, the food is great for those who don't have Italian blood in them. The wine is not the best but it's not that crappy, plus all you can... more
In Vegas there are SOO many places that are better for the price. The staff is rude and the atmosphere is dark and looks dirty. The food was no where near good. Do not recommend this restaurant in a town full of wonderful other Italian places! more
I'm a Vegas local. My husband and I make it a point to try a new restaurant by the strip a few times a month. We gave Battista's a shot after hearing some very mixed reviews. It's "so-so", at best. The drinks are cheap. The food is expensive for the quality of what you get. I had ravioli - you... more
Las Vegas: Battista's a hole in the Wall, restaurant he Ritz-so-so Date: January 12th 2009 Reviewer: A trip advisor member from Montréal, Canada My husband and I travelled in Las Vegas for a few days to see shows. We wanted to heat in a "real" restaurant, were locals went, and a bit away from the hotels. I can't say that... more
Unfortunately for us our hotel had a card in the room stating how good this restaurant was so we thought we would try it. The food was the worst meal I have ever gotten in a restaurant. I had a pasta dish with sausage and it tasted burnt. My husband had spaghetti and meatballs and his tasted burnt also. Spaghetti... more
We go to Vegas with 6 couples every year, and every year we head to Battista's. One person in our group is a former member of LVPD and he used to frequent this place when he lived in Vegas. Now we are hooked. It's not fancy and it's not delicate italian food. It's large heavy wonderful pasta dishes. (The lasagna... more
We ate here just the other night. The seating is very old and worn so don’t look to be too comfortable in those booths. I had Cannelloni served with a side of spinach. The spinach was terrible and tasteless, mostly from being way over cooked prior to service. The Cannelloni was NOT edible. The garlic bread was more like sheets... more
We wanted to go to this restaurant as my friend had heard about it from a customer he booked back in June to Las Vegas. The restaurant is just a block from the strip off Flamingo. The restaurant is very Italian authentic, with hanging grapes and great wall pictures dating back to early Italian decor. It is fairly dark inside... more
I was so thrilled to find something right off of the strip and affordable. I approached my concierge at the MGM Grand for something that was NOT gourmet but still good. Thank goodness he suggested this place! While I admit it is not the best Italian food I've ever had - it tasted WONDERFUL - especially for the price. In... more
