Excellent eats! more

Ate at the MCB restaurant on Rainbow on Sat night with some friends and was most disappointed with the quality of the ribs. Having eaten at such restaurants as Rendesvous (Memphis), Blues City Cafe (Memphis), Blue Smoke (NY), Famous Dave's, and most recently at Phil's BBQ in San Diego, I can safely say that MCB sits well down the list.... more

Yes I went to a BBQ restaurant and had a burger, but this was a really good burger, the Barbeque Burger, said on the menu that it was voted best burger on Yahoo.com, and for good reason. not being a southerner, but a southwesterner myself, I don't know if the food is "authentic", but it is good. The company I worked for hired them to cater our holdiay party...it was fantastic!! I'm writing this review after seeing a previous review on this restaurant. I agree Thanksgivng was horrible there. We thought maybe since we got reservations at 5:30 in the evening (they stopped serving the holiday dinner at 7:00) that we just got the leftovers. None of the food was hot when it got to us.
