I have tried Dim Sum all over Las Vegas and Cathay House is the best I have had. The restaurant is a no frills place but the dim sum is traditional and fresh. Dim Sum is served everyday from 10am-3pm. I suggest going around 11am or after. I went once at 10am and the selection was limited. They kept saying... more

I am from Los Angeles and have dim sum frequently at Empress Pavilion in China Town. The food at Cathay House is just as good, and sometimes better. It's a smaller, more intimate place so you don't have to wait long for your favorite dish to come by. Their specialties include salt sweet shrimp and deep fried crab claw. The... more

Are you serious? You must work for, or own that sorry, run down, piece of .... place. My girlfriend and I went there today after reading this listing. Let me ask you people who "liked" this place .... Isn't this place called " ..... DIM SUM RESTAURANT"????? No Dim Sum all day ... the waiter said. Huh??? What the [--]... more
