I asked for a medium rare filet when it came out it was only slightly pink in the center and burnt on the outside. THE Steakhouse is a premium steakhouse buried in a dump of a casino. They should implode the casino and leave The Steakhouse standing! The restaurant has that old English gentleman's hunting lodge feel - lots of dark wood and leather. You can watch the chef prepare your steak at the grill in the middle of the restaurant. Ate at circus circus steakhouse for the first time on our 5th anniversary based on recommendations from my father who frequents there. The steakhouse is awesome and easily as good or better than other top steakhouses like Ruth Chris, Mortons, and Capital Grille. I've been dining at The Steakhouse in Circus Circus for 20 years. It is a must stop whenever I am in Las Vegas. I've never had a "bad" meal and the service has been excellent 99.9% of the time. I recommend the regular filet and 1lb. baked potato. For $2 more, you can upgrade your house salad to a ceaser.... more

This was our first time there and went due to the raves. The prices were high I felt for the size of steak I got. They over cooked my filet mignon (petite - and that was what it was). The porterhouse had a funky taste. The ladies that ordered the chicken and split it ($10 extra charge) were very happy... more

At here during my last trip to Vegas in Dec '07. I had heard lots of great things about this place and decided to give it a try. Solid reviews and the Circus Circus locale made me think that this would be a real "find", but for the high price I did not find anything exceptional about it. Most in our group thought their steaks were decent, although a few like myself found them uneven. For visitors to Las Vegas, I would recommend to avoid the Circus Circus... more

It was my first time there, and I'm glad my freind took me there. I had prime rib, and it was probably the best I have ever had. The people that worked there were very nice and helpful. And the food was exceptional. more
