My husband and I used Border Grill as our pseudo rehersal dinner the night before out wedding in May. We didn't have a wedding paty, but chose to take our parents out instead of a more traditional rehersal dinner. Border Grill did great in accomodating all our requests and even arranged a champagne toast for us during out dinnner. The... more

We went here on our first night in Las Vegas because we were staying in the Four Seasons and it was convenient. Overall, we came away feeling disappointed. Dishes that sounded delicious and exciting on the menu were bland and uninspiring in reality. For a Mexican restaurant, there really wasn't much flavour at all and, even by Vegas standards, the... more

We went to the Border Grill to celebrate my boyfriend's birthday. This was some of the best Mexican food I have ever tasted (and being from Colorado we have great Mexican food here). The service was excellent and they even brought out a free dessert for my boyfriend's birthday, topped with a lighted candle. I typically hate dessert at Mexican... more

I thought the dinner was well presented and different. Not your typical beans rice fare. Little pricey but considering the location not surprised. Marg's were good. more

Needed to grab a late lunch after we had checked in. Had read up on many restaurants but somehow missed this one. What a good find. Not the cheapest lunch but definitely very tasty. The fresh chips and salsa were very tasty, we did ask for the guacamole and that was ridiculous. I don't even like guacamole, but I loved... more

I love staying at Mandalay for its restaurants. My boyfriend and I recently had lunch here and I had forgotten how incredible the food is. (I have eaten at the Border Grill in Santa Monica but that was a long time ago). First, the margaritas are made with real fresh lime juice Instead of the horrible sweet and sour mix... more

If you are looking for queso, some tacos or enchiladas and other typical mexican restaurants, then you might look elsewhere. If you are looking for something different, then give it a try. The menus are confusing and don't really tell you which items listed are sides and which are actually part of the main dish. One menu item was described... more

We went to Border Grill for the third time this last week. The food is still amazing and the service is wonderful. They accommodated my special request for huevos rancheros even though they weren't on the menu anymore. My strawberry margarita was fabulous. Highly recommended!!! more

Very disappointed. Sarah's main course of Chicken Poblano Enchiladas didnt have any chicken in it - it was like mush so she left it floating in the green creamy stuff. I had the Grilled Skirt Steak which was cooked very nice but came with horrible side stuff. Waitress didnt ask what was wrong so we just asked for the bill... more

We had a great dining experience with a large group (there were 8 of us). We were able to get a table earlier than our reservations and the entire group was treated to fantastic customer service. The margaritas are to die for! I am a vegetarian and found a great selection of foods to choose from which was a nice... more
