I stayed there in Jan 09 and the room was much cleaner, basic but cleaner. This time the room was not very well kept and I had to call someone to come clean some things. The buffet was not impressive as it had very little to offer. The casino and sport book were good with friendly staff. The desk staff... more

Do not stay at the Plaza for any amount of money (even free rooms). Funky smell upon walking into the casino. Rooms were filthy, moldy smelling , and DATED! I was so dissappointed in this hotel, but did not let that ruin our trip. Next time we would stay at any other downtown hotel except this one. My husband and... more

Okay, we know the prices are reasonable and you can only expect to get what you pay for. We have, in fact, stayed here on numerous occasions over the last twenty years or so. But this year they well and truly blotted their copy book. Here is a condensed description of our stay: Booked via Internet, requested none-smoking room overlooking... more

I live in Las Vegas and have been visiting the Plaza for years. in that time I have seen it have more pointless changes and oddball repairs then ever nessesary. The company that operates the Plaza, Tamares, is clearly interested in amassing more properties then maintaining them. It all comes down to the dollar, and the Plaza is a sad... more

This is one of my favorite places to gamble. Just plain old school. So when they sent me some free nights I figured "what the heck..." I knew I wasn't going to get the Venetian, but the Plaza was right at the edge of young single professional limits. (Well within frat boy or budget partier limits though.) The room (#2006)... more

We stayed in Vegas a few nights on our way to L.A. Husband booked our rooms at the Plaza on Vegas.com for $25/night. We paid too much!!! I broke down and cried when we checked in. The place was so filthy and disgusting. One room had water and hair in the bath tub. The carpet in the room and halls... more

We have stayed at the Plaza many times in the past and have always been satisfied until this past trip. 1. The elevators were very slow, only half of them worked and the ones that did work were so dirty I would not touch anything! They had been spit one or urinated on, or maybe worse if you want to... more

I have stayed at this hotel 5 different times, and have enjoyed my stay there every time until this last stay. Although before staying there May 09 the last was in 04. Maybe changing owners to Boyd gaming may be the problem. Checking in and out was a nightmare. Never enough checkers. The room they had reserved for me was... more

We purchased tickets to see "The Rat Pack is Back". I bought VIP tickets. I got all dressed up. However, when we were seated, the head waiter told us that for 40.00 more we could have a table by ourselves. I figured he did not realize we already had VIP tickets. But when we were escorted to our "table" we... more
