For my mom's birthday I thought it would be fun to see las vegas-neither of us are gamblers and have never been there before. That said-I really didn't know what to expect. We spent 350 each for hotel/airfare from east coast for 4 days --a good deal I thought. We get to the hotel--I recommend a cab, they are fast... more

If you're looking for a plain ol' place to sleep it off on the strip, this is it... clean rooms, but very basic. Nice, clean pool area - better than what we saw of the New York, New York pools. Hooray for the $5 craps table! more

The reason I say try somewhere else is because with all of the options in Las Vegas there has to be a better hotel for people on a budget. Here is my take on Excalibur to help you with your decison: The room- Sheets and pillowcases had stains on them. Gross. There were used glasses outside our door when we... more

Out of the hotels on the strip it's obviously not the most glamorous, but definitely worth the money. Room was very nice and clean, and I loved the poolside area. I have no complaints about this hotel. more

I'm always very hesitant when a great price is offered. We were offered rooms at the Sahara @ $16 per night, but staying at the Excalibur was the best thing we ever did. The room was clean and offered a good view of the southern strip. We stayed on the 11th floor of Tower II. I think the only disappointment... more

The staff was rude and the hotel room was very old and outdated. We were on the bottom floor and had cockroaches(among other bugs) in our room. The excalibur used to be a family-friendly place and now its become very raunchy to say the least. Our room was very dingy and we had to have maintenance come just minutes after... more

Location is perfect for Las Vegas... at a great price!! Would go back at any time!! We were booked for normal rooms, but when we got there, we didn't like the rooms on the first floor looking at the garage, so they upgraded the 6 rooms we had for free!! Amazing service! more

This might not be one of the classiest on the strip but we got an excellent rate $47 a night and it was well worth the money. Had one of the refurbished widescreen view rooms too which was adequate, Only downside was the safe was locked and even though we reported it straight away nobody came and unlocked it for... more

Whilst the Excalibur is obviously a more budget friendly option than other hotels & casinos on the strip, it really does feel it. The decor - in an appallingly cheesy Medieval theme - is beginning to fray around the edges and the staff are a little brusque. Despite being in need or a refurb, our room was clean and spacious... more

My wife and I checked into the Excaliber and the desk person immediately showed us the "upgrade list". Why should you have to upgrade when you already have a reservation? We were given keys to a room on the fifith floor overlooking the pool. A fairly clean room that was well worn and used. Not the cleanest but not the... more
