The Sahara is located directly on the strip and the Tram which runs the length of the strip. You can stay at this hotel and almost never need a rental or cab, because the tram can take you any where along the strip. The hotel is old, but it's very comfortable with great employees that offer excellent customer service. It... more

Parts of this hotel were renovated and I stayed in the renovated tower. First impression was that rooms were not cleaned well. I saw dust, dirty windows and some smell was omnipresent. I am not sure now, but I think I was charged extra for electricity use as well. Granted, I didn't pay much for my stay, so I suppose,... more

First, I must say is my second time coming to this hotel. Honestly when you go to Las Vegas you want to spend money shopping, having fun, going to shows and having a few drinks. The hotel is the last thing you use and honestly I see no better value than this hotel in the whole strip area. I paid... more

Myself and my friends stayed here for two nights. My room was dark, dingy, and smelly. The carpets were dirty and stained, mildew around the bath and long hair left in the bath (not mine as I have none) and pubic hair on the bathroom floor. Dust on the TV. And best of all blood or something like it on... more

I was using Vegas a send off and return for my trip to Zions. I knew the Sahara was an older hotel and didn't expect much, but jeez... at least have some pride in your hotel and do some basic cleaning and repairs. I didn't care about amenties, I just wanted clean and safe. I drove in late night (10:00)... more

The rooms, okay. The casino & hotel, underwhelming. The pool, broken. The dinner buffet, sub par. The parking garage elevators, third world. Next time I'm staying off strip. The location really didn't make up for all the dissappointing features. more

I stayed at the Sahara Hotel and Casino from the 23 September to the 30 September with 6 other friends. I was a bit worried after all the awful reviews that it got, but we all thought that it was great for the money we paid. Rooms (the standard ones) were fine, clean, air conditioning worked, ok they are looking... more

I stayed here nine days and felt it was a good hotel. As for the location, it was excellent, near the top of the strip, within a 15 walk of the Fashion Show Mall to the south or the Stratosphere to the north, and with easy access by car to the Interstate 15 highway (around a mile to the west).... more

Had I spent $100 a night on this hotel, I would be sorely disappointed. I am not sure what other folks paid, so I can't gauge their reviews. We spent $26 a night, and we were perfectly pleased with what we got for the price. The rooms could definitely use some work--they are by no means fancy. There was a... more
