Myself and my friends stayed here for two nights. My room was dark, dingy, and smelly. The carpets were dirty and stained, mildew around the bath and long hair left in the bath (not mine as I have none) and pubic hair on the bathroom floor. Dust on the TV. I knew the Sahara was an older hotel and didn't expect much, but jeez... at least have some pride in your hotel and do some basic cleaning and repairs. The rooms, okay. The casino & hotel, underwhelming. The pool, broken. The dinner buffet, sub par. The parking garage elevators, third world. Next time I'm staying off strip. The location really didn't make up for all the dissappointing features. more

I stayed here nine days and felt it was a good hotel. As for the location, it was excellent, near the top of the strip, within a 15 walk of the Fashion Show Mall to the south or the Stratosphere to the north, and with easy access by car to the Interstate 15 highway (around a mile to the west).... more
