My husband stayed at the Sahara for 18days whilst he was working nearby; I stayed only one night, so the review is from both of us in fact. It is very cheap (we paid nearly the same amount for 6 days in the MGM Signature), but the principal of paying peanuts and getting monkeys applies: my husband only had his... more

Value for money this hotel is second to none. This is the second time we have stayed here and both times have been great. The rooms are an older theme, which we don't mind, they are clean and comfortable. Staff are friendly and there is a big pool. The table limits are low, as there aren't too many of those... more

The hotel was very cheap compared to all the other hotels on the Strip but it's located on the furthest end so not very convenient if you want to navigate across the different hotels by foot on the strip. Offers entertainment, casino, pool and located right in front of the monoline train. Has a rollercoaster ride right at the front... more

My wife and I stayed at the Sahara August 12 thru the 16th after spend a couple of days in Laughlin. Check in was lined up about 40 deep and since they only had three people at the the desk we spent an hour plus waiting to check in. I went by the desk area and they were backed up... more

Stayed at The Sahara in April,2008 for 2 nights. It is at the north end of the Strip; we had no problems with the location as this was our third visit to Las Vegas and we liked to walk the Strip. Check in was efficient, the room was spacious; we had a great view from the 15th floor. I would... more

My wife and I stayed at Sahara earlier this summer on an email offer we received. We paid $40/night for 3 nights. We checked in on a Monday afternoon and I thought it we wouldn't have a problem but the line was 30 people deep. The problem was that they only had 3 people at the check in desk so... more

I spent a weekend at Sahara with a couple of friends and we all loved it. Room was large, clean and comfortable, and service was decent. Although it is in North Strip, the hotel has its own mono-rail station so you can quickly get to the heart of the Strip, and also have a safe ride home too. The atmosphere... more

I have visited the Sahara on 2 separate occasions and have never had a bad experience there. In 2005, our accomodations were excellent and well worth the value. When I visited for 2 weeks in 2007, I made it a point to book the Sahara again because I truly love the nostalgic atmosphere of the place. I had heard rumors... more

I thought the Sahara was fine. The room was your average two full bed square box. Furniture and décor were a little dated and worn, but serviceable. A/C worked very well!! There is a Monorail stop and Bus stop at the hotel. Which is nice since it's at the north end of the strip and not really close to the... more

Well, I just got back from Vegas, this was my 3rd time going there and the experience was nice, as allways,. with the exception of the hotel. That Sahara Hotel piece of s***. I went with my family. Checking in was kind of simple, but once we got to the hall way by our room I knew something was wrong... more
