We stayed here because we wanted to be on the strip but were on a budget. It's really dated and not one of the Casinos you'd choose to eat, drink or hang out in, but rooms and big and nice and clean and it's in a great spot. We didn't want to go to Las Vegas and stay in our... more

The hotel seemed to be a bit shabby, BUT they are doing a revamp, remodel. So I think in the future it will be nice. Rooms were slightly shbby but the beds were comfortable, and lighting good. Plenty of linen and when ask for extra pillows, got them in no time. more

We chose to stay at the Tropicana because of the great price for the location and because the pictures online didn't look too bad. I purposely didn't check here for reviews because I didn't want to know why it was so cheap. I'm giving the Tropighetto 3-stars because the staff was helpful (our big group all got moved together to... more

Tropicana is located in the midst of the happenings on Las Vegas Blvd. The hotel itself is rather out-dated, but they are in the process of making upgrades. The rooms were decent. It accomodated three women comfortably. One thing that stands out is that the elevators come in record speed. I've stayed at other hotels on the strip and had... more

We survived driving through bat country and stayed in a room in the Island Tower. The lobby looks as it did in the movies in the seventies, and the rooms look pretty old too, but its a great deal, and pretty neat. Lots of mirrors around/above the bed. great old fashioned cheesy Vegas experience. more

I stayed in this hotel with my husband this summer for our romantic vacation. Before I went there I read the reviews here and sort of concerned about the outdated construction of this place. But when we arrived, I felt that the old-fashioned room decorations turned out to be pretty interesting to me. The mirrors all around the bed, included... more

The nice thing about this casino was that it was in a good location. They also had a nice pool and an arcade area fun for kids and adults. However, I felt the facility was not as well ventilated and "smoke free" in smoke free areas like some of the other casinos. Also, the tiles in the bathroom were practically... more

We spend 4 nights at the Tropicana. The location was right on the strip so that was really convenient and the pool was actually really nice and not too crowded. We stayed in the older part of the hotel (not the tower) so the rooms were older and you could tell that they were in need of remodeling. However, the... more
