All I can say is that it's one of the cheapest hotels on the strip....and it's also pretty rundown. We even upgraded to a tower room (hate to see what the garden rooms looked like!!) and was still disappointed on how the room was maintained. They haven't put any money into this place in a very long time. Very old... more

Price, location, and hotel pool were key to our decision to stay at the Tropicana. On those key points, they delivered. Other than the rate per night, there are no other deals or incentives in the casino, restaurants or bars. We were hoping, as guests, to eat shop and gamble where we stayed but ultimately did not spend a dime.... more

We booked our reservations at the Tropicana in April. We decided to pay the additional money to upgrade our reservations to the Paradise Tower. Three days before we were scheduled to leave, I sent an e-mail to confirm our reservation (something I learned to do to avoid disappointment) and discovered the Paradise Tower was closed for renovations and we would... more

While on a long and gruesome road trip with 6 friends, we stayed at the Luxor on Thursday night...Which was fine...but got expensive when we wanted to extend our stay on Friday night. We called the Tropicana and got a super great value for Friday night, which was $120 for a room with two doubles. So we tread over to... more

On June 26th 2009 I stayed in the Tropicana. When I made my reservation I had to rant and rave just to get a non-smoking room. Finally I was able to get a Non-Smoking room after 20 minutes! When I got to my room(which I believe was room 4104) was on the bottom level on the garden tower. This room... more

Basic hotel but i have to say it has got everything around it. It is also in the middle of the strip so when you look out of your window you have got tall and amazing architectors. A bit dated It is one of the only hotel & casinos on the strip to have a indoor swimming pool wich is... more

carpets with tape on them in the casino-- toilets in the casino very basic and more importantly --the pit bosses are in no way friendly and totally disinterested in the punters having a good time which i thought was the objective when trying to lure tourists to your hotel --as for the reputation about giving the best comps i think... more

We, did not stay at the tropicana and never will. I was very upset to pay 369.00 for so called vip tickets to the Sopranos show, we were lied to and did not received everything which was stated in the discription for the vip tickets, tickets were bought in advance and they were also a birthday gift. Tickets, were not... more

Our room was spacious and the tub was huge -- could almost swim in it. It was nice to have a refrigerator. The pool area was fantastic. Waterfalls (that you can walk under), hot tubs hidden away, and an island to swim to. The pool alone is worth the visit. The food in the steak house was exceptional and was... more
