To my surprise. this is just an average type hotel for Las Vegas. Clean, but nothing fancy. Water pipes were noisy. Not sure why a hotel would be built and skimp on costs in this area. Little things like using double sheets on the bed would add a lot. more

The walls could not be any thinner- you can hear every conversation in the adjacent room. The reception staff were borderline rude- seemed like they just could not be bothered. I was not impressed with the Monte Carlo. First, it was clean and they were able to get us a non-smoking room. The pool area is cool and the location is good. There are new buildings going up on two sides of the Monte Carlo. The construction starts at 4:30 AM.
