we were going to vegas to see def leppard at the palms. the palms was out due to the cost---way too expensive to stay there! so, since we are not interested in gambling, we just wanted a a clean, comfortable, inexpensive place to stay for the trip. our last trip to vegas we "gambled" on the "riviera" which proved a... more

We had a first floor, non-smoking room but due to the quantity of smoke from the casino, everything in the room smelled smoky and you were hit with the smoke as soon as leaving the room. The pool was closed and construction was in progress, so any relaxing by the pool was out of the question. It would have been... more

This was our first stay at the Silverton Hotel and Casino, it certainly won't be our last ! Room was comfortable and clean; it met our needs. Our room was on the fourth floor overlooking the pool area. It was great to open your window to let in the fresh desert air. Reason we chose this hotel was because it... more

Went with a group of people from the uk. Had problems, reserved the rooms before departing the uk, did not get them. Diffficult to get somewhere to eat in the evening, buffet closes at 9pm, other eating places in the hotel could not cope due to low staff numbers. Mexican best most freindly. Building work outside so could not use... more

I did not stay here just visited the casino. I really liked the casino. There is a Bass Pro shop connected to the casino. So if you are not winning you can look around there. They have daily fish feedings which are fun. The buffet was very good and at a reasonable price. Lunch was $8.99. more

I haven't stayed in the hotel, but not everyone goes to a casino just for the hotel room, so I wanted to talk a bit about the casino itself. My husband and I discovered the Silverton last October when we were looking for a free Craps class. Turned out I had gotten the day of the week wrong, but they... more

This is a great hotel if you don't want to be on the strip, and it is a great stay for the sports enthusiasts. There is a Bass Pro Shop connected to the hotel (looks like a lodge), and the casino also hosts a huge fish tank. They had divers feed the fish and had a host describe the different... more

We actually found this place by accident, but it was so nice! The restaurants are pretty reasonably priced for Vegas. They offer complimentary wireless internet which is almost unheard of there. They also offer complimentary shuttle service to both the airport and the strip. It's right off the south strip actually and very near an outlet mall with some killer... more

The rooms are good but the walls don't have much sound proofing and you can hear your noisy neighbor. What I did like was that the rooms were not smoky at all - no casino permeation. Casino - The casino is nice - 5$ tables. The craps dealers are not well trained and miss your bets - place them wrong... more

You must have your own car to stay here. The price is good considering it was during CES (about US$100 per night) and no queue at the check-in. One problem was that I requested by email and a telephone call directly to reservations about a NON-SMOKING room and they failed to deliver. The receptionist recommended that I should have called... more
