We have used this place for a convention for the past 4 years or so, The rooms are hard to find as no signs are anywhere if one walks down about 5-6 different sections. Check in is always slow. Check out is to be avoided so check out on your TV. This is basically a locals hangout, and; some are... more

We stayed here twice on two consecutive Sundays at the beginning and end of a longer trip. Check-in was easy and fast, room was clean and large, bed was very comfortable and it was CHEAP. Room excellent, buffet better than average, location a bit poor - no other casinos within walking distance. more

great place to stay and eat, clean large rooms, good food for reasonable prices, but "WARNING"....do not,,,repeat.,,,do not gamble on the slots or video poker......these machines are set sooooo tight, they make the airport machines seem loose, i recommend you stay and eat there, but do yourself a favor take the shuttle or go elsewhere to play machines, we found... more

Visited The Orleans as the host hotel for an Awards Show "Hoodie Awards". Annual Awards Show. Not only did we enjoy the casino and hotel. We attened the Awards show at the Orleans Arena...very nice facility. What a great place! The rooms are spacious with a safe (not bolted down, but it never disappeared). Sliding door to get in the... more

For the money the Orleans is good value and you would pay a lot more in the UK to stay in lesser hotels. There are downsides to this place though. Vegas is a glitzy and Glamorous town, get dressed up to go to the Orleans eateries or casino and you will feel very out of place. The market buffet is... more

Have just come back from The Orleans in Vegas and loved it! Brilliant place to stay. Tip: Play the slots even a dollar at a time and you get any free drink. They obviously want you to stay there and gamble more. Waitresses come about all the time at this hotel and others so keep that in mind. The staff... more

Eight blocks off the strip but plenty of glitz. Spacious and very clean room had all the features, from hair dryer to phone in bathroom - all at 1/7 the price of the fancier strip hotel where my conference was held. Adequate pools but not fancy nor extended hours. Friendly and helpful staff at security stations by hotel elevators. Only... more

This hotel in our opinion was great. The rooms were nice, good sized, and bathrooms were large for hotel standards. Everyone from the dealers, to waiters, to desk clerks were very friendly. The only negative I could say is that the two restaurants we tried were not the best, but o.k. Loved the 99 cent margarita's at the mexican restaraunt.... more

I had wanted to stay at the Orleans for years and finally did Sept. 3-6, 2008. My husband and I had a really great time and got terrific rates. Food was fine at both the buffet and Courtyard Cafe. My husband got the prime rib for $11.95 at the Courtyard Cafe on 2 nights and loved it (really big portion... more
