Stayed at the Golden Gate Hotel & Casino in September 2009. Rooms are reasonably priced, clean and decent size. The bathroom is a bit small, but manageable. Staff is friendly. Casino is lively. Restaurant has good offerings with friendly staff. Seating along the counter or in tables or booths. The deli is convenient also with the 99 cent shrimp cocktails.... more

This is I think one of Vegas's hidden gems and I like it. Our room although small (you don't want to put more then 2 people in a room) were recently remodeled. paid about $40 for a saturday night in june. 2 queen bed. very cosy setting but the toilet is old. room even has LCD tv. room is quite small but the feeling is good. if u want budget yet decent room, this is the hotel to stay in. more
