This place is a dump. The first thing we saw as we drove into the parking area was a huge sign that read "PARK AT YOUR OWN RISK". The first room we got was filthy and uncleaned. WE asked for another room and at least it was cleaned, but was in terrible shape. The floor was uneven and felt like... more

I had booked this hotel based on the opinion before of lets give it a chance. We booked it online, we didn't get there until late (approx 11:00 pm.) The front of the hotel was nice (as they are remodeling), but when I went to check in , they couldn't find my reservation, luckily, I had my paper that it... more

Way too far from the strip unless you want to walk two miles everyday as a work out. The room was clean but the hotel smells like cigarettes! Wouldnt go back there... more
Thank you for staying with us and finding our rooms clean. Regarding cigarette smell, we take pride in keeping our hotel rooms smoke free but we don't have any control on guests who wants to smoke outside of the hotel that is why sometimes, we couldn't help the smell of cigarette smoke sometimes get in the lobby whenever the lobby...
This hotel is by far the worst on the Vegas strip. The carpets and walls are a depressing, tobacco-stained shade of grey, and the lobby, casino, and hallways can smell pretty bad. At times I plugged my nose on my way through the hotel. I could not spend an extra minute anywhere in the lobby and casino areas. After waiting... more
Dear Ms. Elle_Katie54 I believe your comments was posted on the wrong property/hotel. You probably meant the Sahara Hotel and Casino not Sahara Westwood Hotel. We do not have a casino and our carpets are not grey plus our check ins are just one or two at the most on any given time. Again, you probably meant Sahara Hotel and...
This was the most horrible hotel experience I've ever had. Had we not paid for a three nights in advance, we'd have checked out. We arrived in town early tired and wanted to check in. We were told the room was ready but that we couldn't check in until 3 PM. I travel a lot and every time I'm early... more
Dear Irishdesert, Our deepest apologies for the inconvenience you went through with our hotel. Firstly, we were undergoing renovations at that time and so was the pool. I checked with our guest request/complaint log book and there was no entry regarding a shower broken. We could have repaired/fixed the problem then or offered another room. With regards to check in...
My husband and I are in the process of moving to Las Vegas with our 2 daughters. He lives and works in Las Vegas stays with his parents,Me and our 2 daughters still live in california. To get a little privacy for the weekend we decided to book a little room for us for the weekend. Dear Vegasrunner, The hotel started its renovation in early January 2008 and was partially operational. The desk clerk that checked you in was not the same clerk who took your reservation and was not aware that a room has been assigned to you away from the other rooms undergoing renovations. Anyway, she mistakenly assigned you one of the rooms that...
I booked this "dive" from the AAA for 10/12/2007. After circleing around we finally found "it". The red carpet that we were greated with was filthy, worn through and totally ratty. We entered and checked it. That was an experience in itself. We were handed our "warning papers" certifying that if we brought any animals in they would charge us... more
Dear Guest, I was not here yet when you came to our hotel in October 2007. Anyway, I'm sorry that you had such a bad experience during your stay. The hotel started its renovation in January 2008 and is very much different from what you saw back then. I hope you will try us again next time you visit Las...
Okay, first off this hotel is so hard to find... its off Sahara Ave.... over a bridge, under a freeway and in the ghetto. There's some adult book store and strip clubs around, but really thats it. Its at the end of the strip about a mile from the older casino's like Circus Circus... but even that isnt an easy... more
