Friendly and efficient reservations and onsite staff. A little slow at check in when groups arrive. Size of registration desk is fairly small and number of employees to process registrations is limited. I was not impressed when I walked down the hall to my room and the carpet in the hall was dirty. When I complained about the carpet being dirty I was told by the front desk I was told that they sometimes clean the carpet. No management was offered to speak with me. Just returned (13th July 2009) from a 2 week stay at the Desert Rose Resort, great place to stay, located about 5 mins, (slow walk), from the strip, friendly staff, nice well equiped kitchen. Only drawback is the pool area, it's not big enough for the amount of guests, getting a sun lounger after 8am is near impossible. more
