First of all this hotel is not on the strip. You'll have to catch a cab which takes $6-$15 to get over to the strip. I checked in at 3 p.m. on Friday. The line at the desk was long. After waiting 30 min. in line I was given a room. When I got up to the room and opened... more

The room was nice, comfortable bed and pillows. Good view. My room had no desk or workspace. The lowflow showerhead was awful. In-room internet was $14.99/day and it was a $5 minimum to use the internet kiosk to print out a boarding pass. I was there for a conference and got a pretty pitiful vegetarian lunch (what everyone else got... more

We stayed on Wed and Thurs night and the price was very reasonable for a great room in the Fantasy Tower. Once we got there we found out why - no one was there. Well, not no one, but there were not a ton of people at this hotel. The casino was empty. The pool probably had about 100 people... more

The Palms is a fun place to stay if you're in your 20s/30s. The crowd is always alive, there's enough to do in the one location so you don't miss not being on the strip. We rented one of the lounge beds at the pool in the afternoon, it was fun to be catered to as well as be in... more

Great for partying and having a ball with family/friends. A little noisy for the shy, serene types. Expensive? Yes, but I liked my room and the service was beautiful. On demand transportation is expensive, but you don't need to leave this hotel until your ready to go. more

very expensive, but also extremely fancy, inside the hotel the pearl theater hosts great concerts. what was funny is we found in our room inside a drawer, an empty bottle of vodka and a condom. rock n roll. more

Do not stay in this hotel! The rooms are dirty and the service is horrible. My family and I stayed in the Fantasy Penthouse suite- the Penthouse, la creme de la creme, except is was not even close. When we arrived, one beds in the two queen bed room, had blood on it. BLOOD! Then when we complain, the housekeepers... more

If you're young and enjoy the party scene, you'll love this hotel for week-ends. Noisy in the casino areas close to the elevators going to the clubs. Excellent rooms, comfortable, nice being off strip. Good selection of slot machines. Forget buffet, not worth the price. It was okay and service is up and down. Has small food court which is... more

Off the Strip; stayed in The Palms Tower, which I believe is the older wing. Rooms are just so very average. Basic and well not much else to say beyond that. I know the idea is Vegas wants you to spend time in the casino as opposed to you room; but I have been Vegas hotels that make the room... more
