Just returned from a weekend at Bally's. I wasn't sure what to expect, but I was very surprised. To make it easy let me list the Pros and Cons: Pros: Asked for a north tower room and was upgraded for free -- excellent room! Bigger than most Strip rooms, newly remodeled, very clean, very impressed overall. Love the old Vegas... more

I have stayed at this hotel at least 25 times in the last 25 years-first stayed here when it was called the MGM before the fire in the 80's and before Bally's bought it. Location is excellent and the casino is smaller than many others but still large enough for your needs. The Sports Book is one of the larger,... more

I was taking my annual vacation to Vegas and we try to stay at a different hotel each time, so we choose Bally's. Great location, right in the middle of the strip, with no problems checking in. The rooms were huge, very spacious. You can tell its an older hotel but it still sets the ambience. We had a great... more

Everything was great. Got upgraded to a North Tower room for free. Room was large and clean. No view to speak of but everything else was as to be expected (this isn't the 4 Seasons so don't expect it to be). I paid $180 for 5 nights so for that you can't complain about anything. Check-in took about 20 or... more

Likes: Location, location, location! Dislikes: Front desk staff was very unfriendly (worked with 3 or 4 of them). NO FAN IN THE BATHROOM (in both the suite or deluxe room). Casino and room air quality was worst of any strip hotel I've stayed in. Recommendation: I would only recommend this hotel if you get a great deal on the room... more

My husband and I attended a convention in Las Vegas staying at Bally's. We were told to ask for the North Tower when we checked in, and we did, and they accomidated us. Very nice! We had a great room, clean, the hotel personnel were very very nice. I would definately stay there again. The slots were very good to... more

Casino service was excellent always waitresses around with drinks. Location is superb right in the center of the strip. Unless you are looking for 5 star amenities- this place is very... more

Bally's has huge, luxurious rooms with great views of the strip, and is centrally located when hopping from casino to casino. The only problem we've ever had was when travelling with our little show dog. We made arrangements when booking the room and mentioned our dog would be staying with us. On the phone they said it was no problem,... more

My title would pretty much sum it up.. First time for me to stay at Bally's and I booked one nite there in between my stays at THEhotel and The Palazzo to give it a try. Upon arriving at friday around 11:30am check-in line was probably about 30-40 min long with only about 5 of the check-in windows open. There... more

I booked this hotel way back in March and specifically requested a room on a high floor that had a view of the Bellagio water fountains. I called several times before my arrival to make sure that my requests would be honored, which was for a North Tower room with a view of the Bellagio water fountains. When I arrived... more
