Stayed at this hotel during the CES, the biggest convention in the United States. During big conventions like CES, the strip hotels have no problem charging $300 a night or more for a room that shouldn't go for more than $100 max. OK, firstly it's a motel so you're not going to get all the same comforts that you might in a hotel. We stayed at this Motel 6 for one night in June 2006 (for about 80$ the double for one night). It's Motel 6 -so you know, what to expect. This motel was only 2 blocks from the south end of the strip. It was ok for one night but the swimming pool that we were suppose to use was locked with no explanation as to why and with 115 degree heat it would have been nice to use it! more
