I stayed at the Stratosphere for a 3 night stay this July. I initially booked a Premier Tower room, but once I checked in, I asked about an ugrade to a Suite. I ended up getting an Executive Suite for a total of $200 more for all 3 nights. Altogether, the move was worth it as the Suite offered better... more

When I booked this hotel it was through a flight/hotel package on Expedia and I was looking for price over location. That turned out to be a bad idea. The hotel is perfectly serviceable. There was nothing wrong with the room and I enjoyed the casino. It is just so far down the strip that you have to take cabs... more

Stayed 3 nights in a premier non-smoking room (and the room smelled of smoke!). Very spacious room with 2 queen beds and spacious bathroom. V clean. Location is not good as you are at the very far end of the strip away from everything. There is a bus that goes up the strip but it is extremely slow and takes... more

The rooms and the hotel in general were very clean. The tower was amazing--easily the best view of the strip. The location has its pluses and minuses. It is definitely too far to walk to the main strip, but if you rent a car and you plan on getting out and about quite a bit, the location is great due... more

We were quoted a rate but upon check in they tried to tell us we needed to pay more even though we had paperwork with us. It took a a lot of our time to get them to straighten it out and had to call in the manager who was not too friendly. We still ended up having to pay... more

We were very disappointed with the hotel. The good thing was the price of the room and the buffet deals but everything else was a big mess. There was no minibar or fridge in the room even we paid extra for the upgrade. The swimming pool area's music is so loud that impossible to be there. The room service menu... more

I booked my stay here on wotif.com for the bargain basement price of US$40 for a Saturday night, one night stay. I did get charged the resort fee on arrival, which I think was $8 - but in the grand scheme of things, this still made my stay affordable at under US$50. I arrived just before midnight so check-in was... more

This was my second time at the Stratosphere, and both times the Housekeeping staff were top notch. Last time the room was perfect, this time was a little too dark/cave like with one tiny window for my taste- I imagine that was because this time reservations were set thru Expedia rather than thru their own reservations system, but considering the... more

Maybe we just got the worst room at the place, but we were really disappointed. Weird room layout, bathroom was incredibly small, water from the sink smelled so horrid that we used bottled water to brush our teeth. Front desk staff wasn't very friendly. We weren't happy about the mandatory sky deck fee per night, we only used it once!... more
