My fiancé and I just returned from Las Vegas (May 4-8th) and we stayed at the Stratosphere Hotel and we had a great time the moment we checked in. If you're a first time visitor to the hotel, make sure to mention that because for newcomers, they offer special discounts and upgrades. For $20 more, we were upgraded from a... more

Stayed 1 night on a special deal (£22) available via expedia. Hotel at the northern end of the strip. Hotel reception not well signposted. Room size and beds adequate but lacks in-room safe, limited TV channels and ceiling lighting precariously mounted onto ceiling wall which could be very dangerous for families with young children. Free access to the tower observation... more

The Stratosphere is deffenitly not the fanciest on the strip, but if you are looking for a clean hotel for a very good price, then it's a great deal. I was a little worried after reading some reviews, but they should be taken with a grain of salt. First of all, the biggest complaint I have read on here, is... more

We stayed for one night in December, a $50 special, and we were spoiled after having stayed at South Point. The room was like an older Holiday Inn or Super 8. We didn't wait long in line, tons of parking. No serious problems, just average & dated room. more

I was in Las Vegas to attend a conference near the Convention Center, and was unwilling to pay the $149 per night that a room cost at the conference hotel. I chose the Stratosphere because it was nearby, and away from the Strip. Since I was on a brief business trip, and seeking low taxi fares, and a quick commute,... more

We arrived in May 2008 at 6:30 pm on a Sunday night. We were very disappointed to find that all rooms in the Premier Tower with nonsmoking king beds were full. This is what we requested when we booked through the hotel website. The only thing they could offer us was a handicapped room with a king bed. We didn't... more

I stayed at The Stratosphere because my friends who I was traveling with had already booked the room there from Hotwire. I have absolutely NO complaints about the hotel. I booked my room from the website and got a better price than Hotwire was giving AND I was also given additional perks for booking online. The "regular" rooms online were... more

My husband and I stayed here for three nights while he attended a conference at the Convention Center. Overall, the hotel was a decent place to stay. The staff was helpful upon check-in and check-out. We arrived early and were able to leave luggage with bell desk until room was ready. After arriving in our room, luggage was brought up.... more

I found the stratosphere on Hotels.com for 27.00 a night. It was WELL worth this low price. The hotel staff was very friendly and pleasant, the room was neet and tidy, the view was of a cement wall though (my only complaint). There are a few restaurants including a mcdonalds for cheap late night eats. I would rather stay somewhere... more

I definitely was preparing for the worst after reading the other reviews on TripAdvisor, but what I was presented with was NOTHING like what people have said. The lobby and check-in area were very clean and the staff was extremely efficient, including upgrading us to a better room for a minimal ($10 total) charge and allowing us to get into... more
