Just returning from a weekend meeting in Las Vegas. This hotel is just off the strip across the street from Bally's. For Las Vegas, this is a "tiny" hotel. What it lacks in size it makes up for in personality and service. This was not extravagant and over the top like many of the hotels in Las Vegas, but it... more

My husband & i stayed April 26 - 29, 2008. We loved the hotel. The beds were very comfortable, the location was ideal (we caught the monorail either at Ballys or the flamingo) and the food was amazing. The elevators were fast and the hotel is not so huge that you can't get anywhere. We stayed on the 14th floor... more

We have been staying at the Westin Las Vegas for about 3 years now pretty regularly. If you are going to Vegas to see white tigers and pretty fountains in your lobby, this is not the hotel for that. But if you want an amazingly relaxing stay, clean and comfortable rooms, and great customer service this is the place for... more

Hotel is in okay location, but borders on the sketchy areas. Overall, stay was decent, but housekeeping was a NIGHTMARE!! One night when we returned, our room was never cleaned. We went down to the front desk, asked them to clean, were told they would clean immediately. We returned two hours later, IT WAS NEVER CLEANED!!! Then, at least 3... more

I was looking for a good deal in Vegas, I wanted to go to another 4 star Strip Hotel like MGM, Luxur or Mandolay Bay but prices were a little to high so I tried priceline and hoped to get one of them. I bid $100 and I got the Westin instead. So I though that this one was going... more

Fell victim to Priceline.com's "Name Your Price" (can't choose hotel!). , but did specify a 4 star hotel. If this hotel was in any other city but Vegas, it would be 3 stars at best. Average service, average cleanliness, average amenities. We checked it at 9pm after a 5+ hour flight only to hear "We're trying to find you a... more

I stayed for 5 nights at the Westin as part of a business trip to Las Vegas in Apr 2008. I did not have much of a choice since I booked late and our company has very few negotiated properties in Las Vegas. First, my room was not very clean and the carpet was in desperate need of a long... more

Pros: This hotel is located across from Ballys and you can easily walk to almost anywhere on the strip from here and the pricing was decent. They crammed the lobby but it does have its own casino and 25 cent roulette from 5-8 pm Mon-Thur Happy Hour. The staff (especially bell hops) were very helpful when requested. We did not... more

I am a Platinum Starwood Preferred Guest member, and have probably stayed at 20 Westin hotels around the world in the past 2 years. I had booked the Westin for 3 nights, but checked out after the first night. The hotel should not be a Westin, but a Four Points. The hotel was converted about 5 years ago from a... more

The Westin is a nice hotel for people who want to go to Vegas, but also want to escape the claustrophobia that much of Vegas presents. The beds are AMAZING, the most comfortable hotel bed. The bathrooms are nice as well, double headed shower. The whole room has a nice relaxing ambiance. It's also non-smoking, so no stale smoke smell... more
