the concierge was completely clueless. I asked him where I could purchase toiletriesat a place similar to a CVS; he was new in town and didn't know! The casinos are smoke-filled and it's hard to get a drink; too few waitresses. The room was okay -- it was clean but smelled faintly of stale cigarette smoke. Pillows are AWEFUL. Monday... more
We stayed 4 free nights at Harrah's (4/29-5/03) in a double queen bed room. Upon check-in, I asked if we could get a free upgrade to a suite, while handing a $100 bill to the clerk. She promptly told me no and went on to explain that she could be fired if she gave suites away without management approval. Knowing... more
We picked Harrah's because of the deal through Allegiant Air and the proximity to the heart of the strip. We stayed on the 12th fl. on the side near the pool and the strip. The music coming from the court where the outside bar is was so loud that it kept us up every night we stayed. The music didn't... more
I just returned from 3 nights at Harrahs. Our room was small, but nice. We never had to wait for an elevator. It is the perfect location in the middle of the strip. You can walk North one day and head South the next day. We never took the Monorail since everything is accessible by walking. We did hop on... more
This was my 3rd time in Vegas. 2002 at the Flamingo, 2004 at Paris and this time at Harrah's, what a drop! Cheap place, cheap crowd, cheap food and cheap slot machine. If you are over 22 yrs old and well educated avoid this place. Don't know if it was the American Spring Break, still not a reason to see... more
I stayed at Harrah's Vegas for a convention in April. I was at the hotel for 5 days. The hotel was just fine, nothing too exciting room wise. The check in people were hit or miss. The woman I got checked me right in and upgraded my room for no reason which was nice, but my co-worker got the shaft.... more
Stayed at Harrah's with the family for Thanksgiving...by the way, Thanksgiving is a surprisingly crowded time to visit Vegas. I've been to Vegas 4 times, this was my first at Harrah's. I definitely was not impressed. Not my decor style...sorta '80's-looking carnival figures with other random art. The hotel didn't seem to have a cohesive design. My guest room looked... more
Stayed at Harrah's for 9 nights (April 9 - 18) for a trade show. I loved the central location...could easily walk to Caesar's, Bellagio, Venetian, Flamingo, etc. It's also right on the monorail which is great for convention-goers. I was in a standard, mountain-view room on the 21st floor of the Carnaval tower. It was a pretty small room with... more
My husband & I along with six other couples went to las vegas & stayed at Harrahs for the first time. This was our fourth trip to vegasWe all were very pleased with our room, the service, and most of all -the location. We were able to walk to many places including Caesars palace, the forum shops inside caesars, the... more
