We stayed from 6/27/09 until 7/2/09 and paid extra to have our room upgraded. The room could have used a refrigerator and coffee pot. We stay at Harrahs in Atlantic City all the time and the new tower there is beautiful. I can't imagine what the room would have looked like if we didn't have to pay for the upgrade.... more

stayed at the rio,,what a shame,, this was a classie joint 10 years ago,,now its worst than corner juke shop,, no courtesy,,jus money grabbers,, they shipped my bowling bag an destroyed the bag and would not even refund the cost of shipping,,, never go any where these people operate,, what a shame more

We just got back from a 5 night stay. I read a lot of reviews and thought that it was going to be a nightmare getting the correct room that I had booked. My friends and I stayed in room 722 of the Carnival Tower June 25-27, 2009. The Good: Location! This hotel is center strip. Easy walk to other properties and there is a "food court" right outside of the door. We did not eat there. There is a Starbucks right off of the elevators too. Room was fine for 3 guys.... more
