Hurricane Fay forced us to stay an extra night in Vegas after we had checked out of the Signature. Since we weren't going to check in until after 11 p.m. (2 hours at the airport! stayed here in sept - got standard room at first - room was old and smelled of stale smoke( in pyramid) upgraded to the tower after first night. much nicer. way down the end of the strip, annoying promotional people in the foyer Every time you walk through. Much nicer hotels, casino etc more

Rooms good value for money midweek pricey at weekend. Rooms are dark, shower size and both are a good size, shower head little low. Reception is terrible for checking in and out for the queues... This was my 4th trip to Vegas but 1st stay at the Luxor. No problems at all at check in. Had a short wait of about 5 minutes. The front desk people were friendly and helpful. Did have to wait 30 minutes for my room to be ready but it was not 3:00 pm there yet which is the hotels... more
