My wife and I stayed at the Luxor some 15 years ago and it was fine. But now it has become worn-out and shabby. Wallpaper is worn, carpet is frayed, furniture is chipped and beat-up, paint is peeling. The whole hotel smells of cigarette smoke and cleaner, the only pool that was open was only 3 1/2 feet deep and... more

Hurricane Fay forced us to stay an extra night in Vegas after we had checked out of the Signature. Since we weren't going to check in until after 11 p.m. (2 hours at the airport! Argh!), we went for inexpensive, as we would be there for less than 12 hours. What a mistake. I'm not sure how old the hotel... more

I stayed at the luxor for the $59.00 mvp in the pyramid. The hotel was amazing both inside and out. From the 17th floor I could see the airport , the strip, and the large egyptian statues directly in front of my room. From the interior, one could view all the theaters, and many other stores . The room was... more

Rooms good value for money midweek pricey at weekend. Rooms are dark, shower size and both are a good size, shower head little low. Reception is terrible for checking in and out for the queues... Information in the hotel is extremely poor too and they just try to keep u in the hotel rather than explore. Staff are full of... more

This was my 4th trip to Vegas but 1st stay at the Luxor. No problems at all at check in. Had a short wait of about 5 minutes. The front desk people were friendly and helpful. Did have to wait 30 minutes for my room to be ready but it was not 3:00 pm there yet which is the hotels... more

Casino anynomous Nice pool, but noisy with a stupid DJ Set On the Strip but on the extreme side of it Quite cheap (on Thursday, I don't know during a week-end) more

I'm from England and it was my first stay in Vegas. I thought the Luxor was OK. I stayed in the pyramid itself and the room was lovely, but yes it is a bit dark But then arn't all hotel rooms in Vegas? Overall I think you get what you pay for at the Luxor, Its reasonably priced and ceratinly... more

We stayed in a Pyramid room, number 6020. Check-in was not bad - 10mins and given the horrendous line up on arrival, that was excellent I feel. Pleasant check-in staff and I did not have to ask for the credits and coupons promised at the time of booking on-line as advertised by travelzoo. Room was way too dark even with... more
