They should be changing the name to "Luxor Luxor" to match the quality of such fine businesses as "Circus Circus" and Little Caeser's "Pizza Pizza". I have stayed in 7 different Las Vegas properties and the Luxor is at the bottom. There were numerous small problems that I will describe but mainly a complete lack of any morale among the... more

We were very pleased with the Luxor after reading mixed reviews. Yes it is at the bottom of the strip, but it is a lot closer than it has been portrayed by far. It is closer to the other hotels than Circus circus and the stratosphere. Also, the walk up the strip is far more interesting and prettier this end with... more

nothing special, but ok for wath you paid! It's not bellagio of course but it's ok and clean even if it's a little bit far from centre city (if u go by walk). Room tower it's not so special but very large, (buffet restaurant it's ok). more

We just got back from spending 4 nights at the Luxor. Despite having requested certain things 2 months prior to travelling they had not been taken into account at all, which was a disappointment. Reception quite efficient but you are completely left on your own to find your way to the room whilst draging your suitcases along. (for French speakers... more

We stayed at the Luxor in Las Vegas and the hotel we thought was above average. The price was fair, and it is connected to The Mandalay Bay and The Excalibur. There is also a Tram that runs to all three of the casinos which would make it really easy to travel between casinos, but the luxor stop was down... more

Well all I can say is RUN FOR YOUR LIFE.We spent 4 nights here and will never go again, but I made a big mistake by reading reviews and then saying "Oh it cant be that bad, lets find ot for ourselves".The smoke in this hotel is the worst thing,We stayed in the Pyramid and you cannot escape it,it seeps through the... more

So this is your typical large, no I mean massive hotel... it's architecture is extremely impressive... you can't afterall not equate luor hotel with lv.... its such a landmark.... However, with all things large, the service feels slightly impersonal.. you feel like you are just a statistic.. dont get me wrong, the staff are courteous enough and the front desk... more

I am a 39 year old women who went to Vegas with a friend for the 9th time. I try to stay at a different hotel each time and have looked forward to staying at the Luxor. It was definitely a great stay - I would definitely recommend staying here and will definitely stay here again. Just keep in mind... more

Booked my room with 'Priceline' and received a seriously poor run-down room. (Outdated bedding / furniture, holes in the wall, no clock radio, iron with no iron board) Be carefull what you book at this hotel ......... Discounted room means the worst room in the house. We shortened our stay by three days and checked into the 'Ventician'. Definitely worth... more

First time to Vegas meant didn't have much idea of what things were like. Luxor sounded great (and it was) but I thinks they're all probably great. The Luxor is at the south end of The Strip and seems a little bit far away from the action. But the The Strip is so big it is easy to get confused... more
